Will this work with Linux?

I am using it with Kubuntu Linux 18.04 LTS. It works fine. I have two ETHERNET connections and change the name of each to wired-pub (Internet) and wired-pvt (private). I set the speed for 1000 Mbps and Full Duplex. Then I use the nmcli command i.e. nmcli connection modify wired-pub ipv4 dot route-metric 150, and the wired-pvt metric to 250 (this device is access to my private network) and that ensures that no matter which connection is set up first I always get the internet on the correct subnet. I use virtualbox software to create virtual machines. Have also tried this on Windows 7 & Windows 8.1 machines and am able to set the metric for the interface to get each to work as they should. No complaints so far

Will this work on a Mac OSX 10.9 computer? I just upgraded to Mavericks and need an ethernet adapter.

After installation of new driver and restart, the USB3.0 to gigabit connector works great on Mavericks as of 2014-06-05. Have 1Gb/s connectivity and up to 60MB/s throughput for file transfers on our lan.

Will this work with a smarf tv that has a USB port to give it an ethernet connection?

Works great with Sony a90j oled TV. This model has a USB 3.0 connection bottom section TV. Listed as USB max. I have 300± internet service and download speed is 367. No buffering and meets minimum requirements for Bravia Core movies @ 115mbps. Be sure to turn off wifi on TV.

I've upgraded my MAC to Mavricks and it doesn't recognize old driver, does anyone have new drivers or knows where to find them?

distributer says no driver yet--just won't work until a new driver is created
