Perfect for my Ugly Drum Smoker Build.
Perfect for my Ugly Drum Smoker build. The first unit I bought on Amazon was a vertical toggle clamp which didn’t clear the drum lid lip and could not be installed. This J Type toggle clamp is perfect. Because I installed a lid hinge, I only needed one J Type toggle clamp. I have a Lavalock gasket on the lid and with lid hinge and this toggle clamp, I get a perfect seal.

Good quality for the cost, plenty of sturdiness for my application, (keeping trailer ramps from bouncing going down the road)

work great, a little tweaking for our barn doors, it worked great. Arrived fast 2days. good quality, exactly what we wanted. we took a chance on these and could not be more pleased.

Out of box idea .. It worked !!
Met my application , clamping table saw to stand - got tired of removing bolts each time ... I have to remove table saw a lot ..

Great clamp for drum smoker. Was able to modify it easily to work on home built ugly drum smoker.

Not big enough for most applications.
Used to fastening pole barn doors shut. Do not stay latched very well.

Doesn't WorK
This doesn't go over center so I had to bend it in the vice to make it work. Even doing that it works marginally. I would not recommend this product.
