Every bit as good as the ‘more familiar brand names’
I was trying to save a buck here… and it paid off. I’ve used the ‘better known brand’ version of these detail sanding blocks, “Dura-“ something or other, but I ended up losing it to a ‘nephew helper’ and his Eagle Scout project. So I chose this as a replacement. The block is shaped for the hand exactly the same as the name brand. Even looks exactly the same. So much so that I think it may be from the same supplier. The male Velcro is laid well and squarely. And the paper is every bit as good as the name brand as well. Not so thick as to have you lose ‘feel’ of the work, and not so thin as to be vulnerable to tearing or clogging up too quickly. Just enough of the ‘padding’ that makes it really good for detail sanding. The ONLY difference I could nitpick is the printing of the grit number on the back of the papers. Like everyone else’s, you can tell they run it thru a machine in much larger sheets, with the grit number applied in regularly spaced intervals. Usually they’re close enough together that you get at least one full number visible on the paper rather than having them all get cut off at the edge. On maybe one out of five of the individual papers, you run into this. So you need to keep track of what grit was just behind or just ahead in the stack if you want to be sure what grit you’re about to use.Like I said… nitpick.‘Your mileage may vary’ as the saying goes. But in my mind anyway when you buy this… you’re buying the name brand but just at a slightly less expensive price point. At a time when ‘every little bit helps’, that’s a good & appreciated thing.

Nice little sanding package
This contains a little holder that uses hook & loop fasteners to hold the sandpaper in place. It is comfortable to use and ideal for detail sanding. The included sandpaper is not easily clogged and lasts for quite a while. Although I will primarily use the 120, 180 and 240 grits, the other grits I can use for some of my wood turning projects.

I need to order MORE
I love this micro detail sanding block!! I use them on the most intricate detail portions of my projects. I just love that I can get into the nooks and crannies, that I’m unable to get with a folded up disc or sand paper sheets. The actual sanding block itself. is soft, comfortable, yet firm enough that I don’t get cramps in my hands from holding it. WELL worth the money!!! I need to get a few more.

Good
Work great for the small areas and tight spots that are hard to get to.Sand paper could be a little better quality but good enough for what I needed it for!!

Super useful for small spaces
I find this tool to be super useful for working with small wood trays and bowls. I'm sure it has lots of other uses, but for me, this was the primary purpose. And, it works great for that. The foam structure let's me flex the tool to adapt to the shape of the area I'm trying to sand. I'd buy it again.
