So.... I ordered this bed frame as it was a low profile frame that would alow for maximum headroom under my sons loft (yes, i made it and yes im quite proud of it). It was advertised as a small double and the dimensions on amazon seemed to corroborate this. In the attached picture, you will see a small double mattress sitting atop this apparently "small double" bed frame.Right about now, you may be saying to yourself "why did he keep putting it together? It was obviously going to be too big!"Well let me tell you, I did twig that it was going to be a bit big but I thought I could make the best of the situation and use the additional width to support a sort of shelf like structure next to the bed. Obviously I was after a shelf and not a patio. So, I will be looking for a refund and will probably look elsewhere for a replacement.
