I opted for the Blurams Outdoor Pro with the “plug-in” power source because I wanted an affordable outdoor camera that could be set up "inside" my home, and in which I didn't have to be concerned about outdoor installation that involved wiring, drilling, etc., so this wireless camera with a plug-in power source fit my needs perfectly. Connection to 2.4GHz WiFi was simple and quick and the camera also easily connected to my Alexa smart home device. I have the Blurams Outdoor Pro with the “plug-in” power source inside my home placed on the windowsill. I was pleasantly pleased that the camera’s video performance through both window and window screen was not negatively affected. The image quality both at night and during the day is excellent - crisp and detailed. I am extremely pleased with the wide field of view, color night vision, range and sound detection – all through my windowsill. I like that I can monitor my camera thru the app on my smartphone and/or my PC, I can also ask Alexa to “show me”. There are many camera options for the Blurams Outdoor Pro that I have yet to explore such as face recognition, siren, spot light and onboard vs cloud storage options. I highly recommend the Blurams Outdoor Pro wireless with the plug-in power source for anyone that prefers a simple installation outdoor camera that does not want to drill or install wiring, a camera that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor, can be placed inside the home and still receive perfect video and sound performance of your "outside" perimeter. This camera was a very good investment. I would purchase again, and again!

I have multiple cameras from blurams different kinds and versions all work FANTASTIC. We have outdoor wired..outdoor solar...baby monitor...indoor swivel. Great membership and affordable. When I once had an issue tech support helped me delete and re add and all was fixed smoothly!

*UPDATE 4/11/24*After airing out some complaints in my review, the manufacturer reached out and wanted to make it right (which I loved). They offered to replace the camera for free, which I accepted. The new one so far has one giant difference that has made me much more pleased, it stays charged! The old one dropped between 5/10% a day, but this one has stayed at 100% for approximately a week! Super happy with that, excited to see what happens when we have a rainy day and then sun the next day(if it will then have enough to charge itself back up after dropping). I do think some attention by the manufacturer could be paid to the coating that is on the lens for longevity.Also want to reiterate that I'm fairly happy with the app, it's a little slow, but it works and for free it saves all footage for 24 hours, which is all I ever need. It does detect movement too far away, even on the lowest setting, but I just turned off the motion alerts and can review the footage as needed and still get the "a person appeared" notifications instead (which is what I really care about.)Appreciate that BluRams took customer service seriously and made the situation right!---------------Old review from late March 2024When I first got this camera, I was super pleased! I have a couple of indoor blurams cams that I use often for monitoring the house when I'm out or when my young nephew is over and asleep so I know when he wakes up. Love em, have no issues with them at all and multiple years of use.I have multiple issues with this outdoor cam though (and looking through the pictures in the reviews on this page, all of the photos seem to be of a different camera entirely.)Most important, as you can see i've highlighted in the photo, the face of the camera/lens has developed some sort of visual problem. It's not a problem during the daylight, but as soon as night rolls around it causes the streetlights to flare so hard that you can't see anything else. This developed after having the camera for about 2 weeks or so. My second major issue is that the solar panel is super mediocre. I live in a part of the country famous for its sun and have to charge the camera every two weeks. I have essentially turned off all notifications/motion detection to conserve battery and the best I can get is the solar panel maintains a charge for most of the day and at night it continues to drop. Speaking of detection, even after moving the detection distance to the minimum and arranging the detection area to be a small part of the driveway, far away from the road, the camera still detects every single car driving by, which should be quite a bit outside of the targeted area and beyond the detection range I applied in the settings.I do like the blurams app/software. It's a little slow, but free 24 hour replay is great and exactly what I need. No real complaints there, for free, it's excellent.

I needed an outdoor camera for my yard, since we travel a lot. Since i have no power i had to be solar powered.We already have a blurams indoor camera, so it's a great add on for our system. Plus you can't beat the price compared to other solar powered cameras.It's wide angle lens and high resolution, gives us a clear view of our entire yard. It was easy to install and the solar keeps it fully charged. The night vision works great as well.I plan to get the spotlight version next. Very happy the blurams products.

Bought this originally to have inside our toad enclosure to check on toads when we were not home. Don’t have them anymore so we now use this to babysit our laser engraver while it’s running in the garage. Not only is the image very clear, and we can watch via phone or iPad, it also has a web interface that we can pull up on the pc/tv screen while watching movies or gaming to easily keep an eye on our projects. Have not used the subscription based service to record videos, as we have no need for that with this camera (have Google Nest Cameras everywhere else in the house). Would recommend for those needing a quick multi-use camera for quick plug and play applications, such as this.

I got this as a gift for checking in on my two cats when we're away. It works great, the quality is excellent considering the great low price. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to install. Simple instructions. Mobile app is intuitive and easy to use. Camera video quality is clear. Limited zoom ability. Alarm is tinny. Voice and alarm can not be used simultaneously. The camera is discreet, sensitive to any movement and message alerts are almost instantaneous.Overall for the price I feel the camera is great value and my home is definitely safer.

These are surprisingly good. I have several cameras of different makes and types... and so far these are the best picture and very easy to set up. Also very configurable. Mine are outside in the snow and rain. My only issue is that the standard USB fixed power supply for an outdoor camera makes difficult to string the wire... to go through anything requires a half in hole. Would be nice if the wire was detachable from the camera with a mini, micro or C connection.

Good camera works well, don't always get notifications and a little sensitive with cars but overall it's a dependable piece of security for our home. Picture quality can't be faulted.
