This screen worked out very well for me. I can’t comment on long term, as I just installed it today. But at present it looks good and performs just as well as my old screen (before I broke it installing a new battery). I switched out the home button for the one from my old screen so I would have fingerprint ID. That went much better than expected. Placement of the new gasket that surrounds and seals the screen was awkward and the gasket could have been of better quality, but it worked. The kit comes with a few tools which are low quality, but since my new battery (different manufacturer) came with an excellent tool kit, I didn’t mind. Overall, a good value for money. If this is your first time opening an iPhone, I’d recommend watching several YouTube videos until you fully understand the process. Then watch the best one again. It is not an easy repair and mistakes can be costly. The screen will break if you pry too hard trying to remove it; some heat helps a lot with this process. And be sure to replace the tiny screws exactly in the holes they came from. They are different lengths and a mistake can damage the circuit board. A magnetic mat, such as the one provided in this kit, is a huge help. I probably spent more than it was worth repairing it, but in the end I got my old phone working again. That felt good and now I have a back-up if my new one breaks.

This was a good replacement. It worked just fine. The touch was good and screen was good. My only complaint was the colors were off. I would buy again. Because of the color variance I did buy a more expensive different brand that claimed to be OEM but the touch calibration is annoying on that one whereas this one the touch sensitivity and usefullness was perfect.

I received my screen today, 4/19/2020. However, I must have received a defective model. Three major issues: 1.) The top of the phone, where the flex cables are located, goes from cool to warm to extremely warm to touch while in operation in under 5 minutes. However, the bottom portion of the phone will remain cool to touch. This leads me to believe that the product will cause overheating if used for extended periods, as most people do. This does not occur with the OEM screen I am trying to replace. In conclusion, this screen will not last long if it already has heating issues out of the box. 2.) The Home button provided does not work. I will rule this out as receiving a defective model. When tested with my OEM Home button, it also does not work. My OEM screen and home button do not have this issue. This results in having a functional, but extremely warm to touch screen, but not being able to actually use my phone. 3.) The screen does not seat properly into the chassis leaving a very small gap at the bottom of my phone. Obviously, that means it is not flush with the chassis either. I could have lived with that, but the gap means there is a risk of my phone screen popping out if it were dropped for any reason. The gap also means I am unable to secure the screen with the pentalobe screws that screw into the bottom of your chassis by the charger. To conclude, I will have to return this product as defective. Any number of the above reasons would be reason enough to return a product, but having all three happening at once is quite amazing. Edit 4/20/2020: So I was able to get around NOT having a functional home button via Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control. But this workaround is not a solution since it requires you to state "Go Home" every time you need to back out of an app onto the home screen. As you can imagine, this makes your phone rather useless when you need to use it for its purposes. On top of have a non-functional home button, there's a 0.5 second delay between swiping/tapping on the screen and detection of input. It's highly likely this is due to the unit being defective and the extremely short time it takes to go from cool-to-touch to extremely-warm-to-touch. To conclude this edit, I will definitely be returning this unit and seeking a replacement unit.

Habe das Display am Samstag bekommen habe es Eingebaut zuerst Sprang es nicht an und ich wollte es Reklamieren.Aber ich hatte einen Stecker vergessen meine Schuld. Ich bin von diesem Display sehr überrascht 😮 ein richtig einfacher Einbau und es ist vom Gewicht etwas Schwerer geworden auch super Verarbeitet.
