As with all music what you would classify as classics may vary. Many of my favourites are on this cd but a few are missing. Check the listing carefully before buying

Fantastic mastering. Orchestra in my livingroom. ONLY bad thing is that the vinyl builds static like crazy. It's the best mastering I have ever heard. Some of the arrangements are not to my liking but that's a personal preference. A must have if you like orchestrated music. Aldow the vinyl is not the best I have seen. Inner sleeve is missing on one of the plates and the sleeve that is there is a pure paper sleeve. The vinyl charges so much static that it hurt to pick it up. The crackling can be heard a mile away. When it plays it's OK. No bad sound from the static.

What's not to love about Hans Zimmer?! All the classics on there!

Slightly disappointing and very expensive. Not the big orchestral masterpieces that I expected. More like covers. Sound quality was brilliant though. Pity about content.

Excelente calidad de audio, si bien no es la orquesta de Hans Zimmer las interpretaciones son bastante buenas! Dark knight rises & Pirates of the Caribbean son sublimes.

I absolutely love Hans Zimmer music and have tons of his CDs, but this one is my favorite by far! The featured artists are absolutely amazing! Look, it's even making me use exclamation marks which I never do!! These are the tracks we know so well but re-imagined to feature the guest artists and highlighting different instruments than usual -- yet not so much that you can't recognize the songs. Even if you have most of these songs on other CDs (like I do) this will feel like fresh, new songs. My word for this CD is ROUSING! The 1st track of The Dark Knight Rises: Main Theme features Lindsey Stirling and will blow you away. Other tracks are Themes from Pirates of the Caribbean with the Piano Guys (really fun and good), the beautiful, melodic, piano version of Gladiator Rhapsody with Lang Lang, Crimson Tide: Main Theme with Till Bronner, Inception: Time with Tina Guo, The Lion King: This Land with Amy Dickson, Gladiator: Now We Are Free with amazing Leona Lewis vocals, Man of Steel: Flight with Lang Lang & Maxim Vengerov (one of my fave tracks), the hauntingly beautiful The Thin Red Line: Light featuring Maxim Vengerov, a frantically stimulating piano version of Gladiator: The Battle Scene with Khatia Buniatishvili, Inception: Mombasa with 2Cellos, and Interstellar: The Docking Scene with Roger Sayer. The Orchestra is The Czech Philharmonic conducted by Gavin Greenaway and wow they do a great job. It couldn't have been easy, keeping up with these featured artists. The quality of sound is excellent. Very impressive. Buy it!
