The Crimson League: The Fight for Hope (The Herezoth Trilogy Book 1)

Although the beginning of the book had me confused quite often with the vast cast of characters, I soon found myself wishing I was in this battle of good versus evil. This does say book 1 in a trilogy and I am anxious to read the remaining books.

Loved this fantasy novel with well- developed characters! This is fine for YAs too but is a wonderful adult read. After a slightly slow start setting the stage, the story takes off after Kora and Seddes meet the Crimson League. Then it was a page turner non- stop until the end! I hated to see some major characters lost along the way. This is the first book of a trilogy and I can’t wait for #2.Congratulations to author Victoria Grefer!

Victoria Grefer is a true storyteller! She did such an awesome job of developing characters, the storyline, twists and turns, and I didn’t want it to end. This lady has talent and I cannot wait to read her next novel. I will buy it as soon as it’s available. Writing is her gift!

The author does a great job creating an original fantasy plot with several twists I did not expect. She also creates an understandable antagonist, even if you don't agree with his actions.

I read to relax at the end of a busy work day, shut off my brain and get transported to another dimension. I find it relaxing to read stories like this one. Inspiring beyond the story line, brings in a new perspective if you choose to see it. LOL But that is just the way my brain works.I am looking forward to the second one already.

Just getting a peek into this new world and already I want to keep reading.The characters have grabbed me and I’m invested in what happens to them.

I absolutely loved this story. The character development is amazing. I love the way certain scenes are punctuated with a quote or statement so powerful that it captures the emotions perfectly. Highly recommend to any and all fantasy fans!
