I recently needed to replace one of these capacitors in an AC condenser unit but didn't have a spare...so I went through the LONG process of ordering from Amazon and waiting a whole day before I could install it. To prevent this completely outrageous waiting period for the next time one of my AC units failed, I decided to pick up a spare capacitor to sit on my shelf and wait for the inevitable power surge to take out my AC.So even though this particular capacitor is going to spend a (hopefully) long time on the shelf waiting for disaster, I did want to give it a try to make sure it works. And sure enough, I was able to remove my existing/working capacitor, replace it with this one, and the AC unit started right up!

My air conditioner fan was not working right and after some research and testing. I knew it needed a new capacitor and maybe a fan motor. When this came in I tested it and it was within normal parameters. I installed it and my AC unit worked like it should.
