I got this for my 9 year old grandson and he loved it. I was impressed with the size of the set. Very good quality too!

One of the dragons came defective. Would get stuck when you pressed the lever. Otherwise a great toy!

I gave my 5 year old grandson my IPhone and told him to pick out some presents for his birthday. I watched him and let him pick out four items to place in the cart. He was very excited and I told him that one gift would arrive in time for his birthday but the rest would come later. He was happy. The big box arrived in time for me to bring them to him yesterday. He and his sister played with the small toys and saved the dragons until daddy got home. They all had a blast! I sent batteries and extra batteries since lights and sounds always make it more fun. My 5 year old grandson had a great time!

This game has awesome advertisements and cool videos, but the actual product is horrible. It is cheaply made with thin, flimsy plastic. Although the product came almost entirely pre-assembled the pieces do not fit together well and can be difficult to maneuver (especially while battling in this fast paced game). One of the moving parts does not work correctly at all. It did not come with written directions, only unclear pictures as a guide. And the cincher is that both my kids cut themselves on this game within the first 5 minutes of play. We will be returning this very disappointing product.

My kids had lost interest in their Akedo figures, but since receiving this battle arena as a Christmas gift, they're back into it. The addition of serpents gives the battle a new level of fun. They actually sat and played with it for over 30 minutes (which is a huge achievement in the era of tablets). There are also lights and sounds that add to the fun, but we haven't quite figured out how the scoring works yet. If you're on the fence- just get it. Your kids will love it!

This toy started out great - all the features were working splendidly, the functionality of it was on point, and I was worried based on reviews that it'd come out of the box broken. While I'm thankful it didn't start broken, I'm extremely disappointed that within two months of owning this toy, several pieces are now struggling to work. The internal computer mechanism seems to be miswired and doesn't allow the right buttons to be pushed based on which split strike just happened - I'm not sure where the recognition piece is for that but wherever it is, ours isn't working right. Furthermore, the red snakes trigger mechanism stopped working today, both to lift the snake and to split strike him. Even when pressing the split strike button directly, it doesn't go down anymore. However, the green snake side is still working fine.For a toy that's main purpose is to whack at each other and cause split strikes, I expected it to be sturdier! One of the warriors broke on the first day we got it and is now taped together since I, luckily, was able to find the piece that came off.When reading reviews a few hours ago, I noticed it was on sale for $12 and some change and considered buying a second one but figured I'd wait a bit. Now it's already back up to $45. This is not worth $45. Not even close. It's barely worth $20 for how it's working and how long it's lasting.A warning to all parents - wait until it's on sale again if you do decide to purchase and even then, proceed cautiously!
