McFarlane’s Superman Collector’s Edition is a solid addition for any fan of the iconic hero. The attention to detail in the sculpting is commendable, and the figure captures Superman’s essence quite well. While the articulation isn’t overly extensive, it allows for some basic poses. The included accessories, especially the interchangeable hands, add a nice touch. Overall, it’s a decent collector’s piece that pays homage to the legendary character without going overboard.

Love this piece ! I FINALLY got mine delivered today ! Came in a cool collectors box, looks pretty well sculpted, nice art card, just everything! Very happy with purchase.

Excellent figure by McFarlane! One of the best head sculpts of all the Superman figures they've produced. Looks great!

When I seen that McFarlane toys made the First appearance figure of Superman I had to have it, It's definitely on the top of my Favorite DC action figure list!

I was really craving this figure as pictured in the Amazon solicitation. The pale blue tights, blue boots, and the crude yellow triangle with the S. What I got was the more polished red and yellow emblem, red boots and darker blue tights. I don’t know if somebody chickened out, or made some last minute change to the entire outfit, but sorry, it’s a bit of a disappointment. I still like the figure, but it’s not the one I paid for.If I can’t them to send me the appropriate paint job, or do a bait and switch, why should I pay any attention to the solicitation pic? It’s unfortunate, unprofessional, and frankly, false advertisement. That’s why this would be 5 star figure only rates 3 stars because of what I received.UPDATE — I now realize exactly why I received the wrong figure. I had to find out from a competitor that there are a small amount of variant chase figures with a different paint job and look. I wish Amazon had taken the time to add that in the description. It would have been nice to know. I will amend my star rating to 4. The variant IS a nice figure, it being the wrong one just took me by surprise.

Definitely a great addition for any collector. The packaging was also amazing and the box is in mint condition.

When I opened the item it has damages on the side. This is very disappointing for in box collectors.

I like the way it looks

Item is original and good as described, but the packaging can be improved and paint quality is a bit on downside. I got mine returned and ordered a new same model hopely second time would be good condition
