Awesome value for money
This Falcon 10w was the second-best purchase I've ever made, second only to an Ender 3 v3 SE 3D printer. It was simple to set up and use, and plays perfectly with Lightburn software.I would definitely recommend buying the Air Assist unit to go with it for cleaner cuts and less burn and would also add the cover with extractor venting if you have limited ventilation or little spectators.I would also recommend a 500x500 honeycomb base to avoid desk burnage and unnecessary reflections. An awesome unit and wish I'd bought one sooner.

Didn’t work out of the box
Got this for my girl for Christmas. We were moving and didn’t set it up for a few months. The pre installed cut worked great, but none of the other stuff we attempted worked. It wouldn’t link with the computer, and any design we put it wouldn’t work either. The customer service ran us around telling me to try different things and we even downloaded their laser cutting software and none of it worked. Now I can’t even return the damn thing.

Not quite as advertised / Customer Service non-existent
I received this as a gift and have been addicted to it for the last month and a half. Digging into this has yielded some interesting things... They advertise this as a 400mm x 410mm unit. The reality is that it's about 300mm x 300mm. There are recommended settings that all suggest speeds over 100mm/min in reality, they're well below those speeds. It made me think I was doing something wrong, so I sent a question into customer support. No answer (yet). I'll update this further as I dig into the unit further.

Very good, but no replacement parts
I have enjoyed using this product for the last 4 months. The y-axis limit switch was not engaging with the stop piece which resulted in the laser slamming repeatedly into the frame. There is no adjustment on the limit switch, so I 3D printed a new stopper and it works fine now. However, this resulted in wear on the belt. I have been working with tech support to get a replacement as there are no parts available, even on the Creality website. It takes 1-2 days between communications. I am willing to buy the belt, just need them available. I would recommend researching other laser mfg, i.e. xTool and see if they offer replacement parts. I am pleased with the product, just disappointed with part availability.

Constant performance drops when cutting
I'd like to start off with the good. The machine came in and, with careful assembly, was perfectly square (checked it against a machinist square). I got the air assist kit direct from Creality and installed it during assembly so the test file they sent cut flawlessly. That's pretty much where the good ends. I got this laser for my hobby and wanted to cut 5mm plywood with it. After a few material tests I was able to cut the plywood fairly quick and didn't have any snags. With less than an hour of total runtime, over two days, I started to see performance issues. Earlier settings started to fail, and not marginally. I went from doing three passes to six and STILL was not getting through (and I did try a few scraps to account for plywood variation). I've tested using a better power supply, no fix. I've run tests with long periods of downtime in case there was a heat issue, no improvement. The material is flat and I always use the included focusing tool so that's not it. I cut with an air assist over a honeycomb so it has the best conditions available. Despite all of that, using the same speeds, the laser cuts worse at 100% than it does at 80% power.Having run the machine for less than four hours, always with an air assist, I'm extremely disappointed. I like Crealitys products and I hate coming here to trash the laser but it just is not working the way it should. If I hear back from them I will come and update this review. I really hope I got a dud and that this isn't the norm. But for now, if you want to cut thicker than 3mm material, even if only for occasional hobby use, buy a stronger laser.

Laser defective
The laser never worked and their customer service is terrible. Don’t buy one of these. Wish I had paid more attention to reviews.

Great little laser
This is my first laser engraver. I did a lot of research and eventually settled on this one. I didn't use it much for the first month as I was setting up an enclosure. Now I'm running it several times a week and having a lot of fun exploring what I can do. So far I've done some wood burning and cut fabric. The workspace is massive and I'm really glad I picked the model I did for that. Now I just need a honeycomb!
