Mostly plastic
When the box was delivered it was extremely light. Turns out the plate and base of the handle are plastic and just the knob is metal. Pretty but worth the price? I’m not sure yet. Also shows smudges easily and harder to wipe clean.

I could not get even gold. Unless I buy the whole package. And then this one did not fit my shower so I had to send it back. And yeah, You are no that cause I talk to you.

cheap for a reason, partially metal piece
Ended up getting a better shower valve trim. Handle is metal, the trim plate is some kind of plastic with the brushed brass color on it.
