Perfect fix for hyper flash without causing an obnoxious squawking sound.
I purchased this to prevent hyper flash as well as get rid of an annoying squawking/screeching sound that was being caused by another brand I purchased on Amazon. The previous one prevented hyper flash but in cold weather it would make an obnoxiously loud squawking sound. Others have reported the same sound for said brand it's the import name if that helps narrow it done. When this flasher relay arrived and got rid of that obnoxious sound and worked perfectly for my 2005 F150 I was extremely happy to say the least. I highly recommend this if you need a flasher relay for LEDs and or if you are experiencing that squawking sound from another brand. I hope this review is helpful for those searching for a relay that fixes hyper flash and is rather quiet only make the normal "blinking" tone without squawking.

Works on 2008 Highlander
Installed it on a 2008 Highlander Hybrid. It was a bit of a hassle to do that, as it is located on the back of the electric module. However, it is possible to reach the blinker speed adjustment after installation. Mine turned during installation, and I initially thought I would need to disassemble everything again, but I was able to reach it with my fingers from under the steering wheel. The adjustment is an interesting feature, but I find it quite useless. Now, when I push the turn signal handle and release, it flashes three times. The original one was flashing only while holding it and would stop right away after releasing. Not sure yet if I like it.The relay clicking sound is slightly but noticeably different.By design, it won't change the flashing speed when one bulb dies. Unless you check it occasionally, you wouldn't know your turn signal is not working.Overall, I'm happy with it and prefer it to installing resistors to use LED or to buying expensive LED with built in resistors that consume as much energy as the original bulbs

Fits 1999 Ford F250 SD but is Taller than OEM so Plastic Cap Won't fit Otherwise Works Fine
There is a plastic cover that clips over the relay array that you must remove first. After removing that, you have access to the turn signal relay. Unplug the old relay and insert the new one in. Unfortunately, the plastic cover will no longer work because the new relay is too tall. On my truck, all the relays seem to be plugged in pretty tight including the new turn signal relay. So, I felt confident that leaving off the cover shouldn't be a problem. The new relay cured the ratcheting noise my old relay was making and flashed the turn signals properly.

Do this instead of the complicated resistors
With all the various products and brands available with LED’S, I read several other posts and decided to pull the trigger on buying some LED’S for my pickup. I installed mine in a 2007 Toyota Tacoma and, as pre-warned, I had the hyper flash issue that many warned about. I almost returned them, not because they didn’t work, but because I wasn’t sure I wanted to fight trying to install the resistors, etc.. Thankfully I found a different route to go besides the resistors….THIS ITEM! Thankfully I found a guy on YouTube that recommended going this route vs the resistors. Then the search on Amazon hoping I could find a product that would work with my year, make and model…found this one. Not only did it work flawlessly, but it also provided some new things to my signals that I never had before. Bottom line, very happy with the product and would definitely recommend…especially vs the dreaded resistor route.

Doesn't fit 2015 Silverado 1500
I found out after receiving this that the 2015 Silverado's do not have a flasher relay and the flasher is controlled by the body control module. This will not work for me so I will be returning it.

Great value and easy 15 min job
2009 Subaru XT with LEDs all around inc signal lights. This product fixed the hyper flashing signal issue with ease. Simple tools ...philips, 10mm socket and flat head mico screwdriver and 15 min is all it took me.NO rating on longevity as I just installed today. Maybe I will come back and do a 1 month review.

Good so far
I recently replaced my truck front turn signal bulbs with led bulbs. This results in a condition called hyperflash. Where the signals work but flash like you have a burned out bulb. You can either put load resistors in line of each bulb or replace with an led flasher relay. This was the easier option. While my 25 year old truck wasn’t real cooperative in letting me remove the original flasher it was still easier than wiring in resistors. I now have led’s in front with stock bulbs in the rear. It works fine. By the way, I have a 1999 F-250 Super Duty.

Worked perfectly
I installed LED turn signal lamps on my 2009 Subaru Forester and they started flashing very fast and right indicator lamp on dash wouldn't go out. Within one week the right turn signal was now stuck on all the time.Installed this flasher unit and it worked perfectly. Love the turn dial so I can adjust my flash rate to whatever I liked.

Does not fit
This will not work for a Toyota Tacoma X Runner.. oem flasher relay has 18 pins. This one only has 8 pins , therefore the plug does not work.. i bought this as the seller claimed it works for my truck. Very disappointed
