Still great..PS2 & the PS3 version!
When I bought my PS2 originally around release this was the first FPS game I picked up along with its successor - Medal Of Honor Rising sun. I can also add that MOH Frontline is a completely different experience to MOH rising sun, and in a good way. As soon as you begin 'Your Finest Hour' (the first mission) you are instantly transported into the heat of the action as you, Jimmy Patterson are on a higgins boat prepared to storm the beaches of Normandy during the horrific, bloody battle historically renouned as 'D-day'.As soon as you are on the beach (after being hit by a bomb and forced to swim to shore) you meet up with your Captain and are almost instantly forced to take cover as the constant hammering and ricocheting of the bullets fly past your head make the player instantly feel in the very moment of the action. Incredibly immersive, the sound gives you goosebumps as the deathening blitz of gunfire keeps you aware that you're fighting and not in some kind of simulation. If like me, you play on hard difficulty then the beauty of this level is truly revealed because if you step out for too long for as short as a second, your dead which gives the game an incredibly realistic and rewarding feel. This moves me onto the gameplay. With easy to pick up, fun controls the game is incredibly noob-friendly in the control section; however newer players may feel the game is quite hard in comparison to as instead of regenerative health you have to find health pack to keep Jimmy going after being softened up by gunfire which gives the game an extra level of difficulty because you have to be aware of your health and tactically make decisions before doing an action which means you nearly always have to take your weapon ammo, health, amount of enemies and position into consideration.MOH Frontline spans across numerous levels which involve the player jumping on a nazi filled train, riding a minecart through a mine, storming the beaches of Normandy even fighting alongside the Poles in Arnhem. With plenty of variety the game is truly bought ti life with the beautifully composed music from Michael Giacchino. If you previously player this game before you'll know what I mean as the composer managed to create a bond between the player and music which in certain missions (such as Needle in a Haystack) gives the player an emotional side which had never been seen in an FPS game. The graphics in this game are great so no fuss there, in the PS2 and PS3 version. However, due to being released without a patch the PS3 version is more glitch-ridden than the classic PS2 version as the music can occasionally stop when it never did on the PS2 version.all in all MOH Frontline is a timeless classic that I recommend to new and old gamers looking for some second world wartime FPS fun!Overall, I give it 9/10 as it is one of the best games in the MOH series. I rate it down due to some of the enemies spawning in rediculous places on some missions such as 'The golden Lion' on hard mode. Also, the fact that you can't look down your sights takes away a bit of the immersion.Still a great game though, and for the great price I'd say buy it!

Exceedingly happy with this product , thank you. What I love about this game more than the others, is that it's action from beginning to end . The moment from stepping of the boat you get the sensation that your actually there . This games a must have and worth any price . For playability it's definitely worth a ☆☆☆☆☆

Medal of Honor, indeed.
This game has kept my son occupied for ages, he has replayed all the levels over and over. The game play is very good, the controls are not too difficult. The graphics are very good, and there is a proper storyline, from the beaches of Normandy on D-Day through lots of levels.
