I developed a painful bunion/corn between two toes. Once it dissolved I started wearing these to prevent my toes from rubbing together. It is comfortable to wear and does the job. It will not hold your hammer toe down as it isn't strong enough for that. In my opinion.

After seeing 3 doctors about my toes separating and feeling numb, one podiatrist finally told me to get a toe straightener. I tried 2 other brands. They didn’t work. After my daughter broke her toe and showed me what her doctor suggested. I tried another brand, but they were too big. These are just great and washable. I can walk comfortably again. Also thick socks and wide tennis shoes now have me walking on pillows.
