A bit heavier than normal crutches and take a few tries to get used to them. They have made walking much less painful on wrists and shoulders, they also make you stand straighter which is better for my back too. Sturdy construction

I have undiagnosed Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (both my sisters are diagnosed, and I don't want to be). This results in joint pain, weak wrists, etc... I have other conditions that make me susceptible to falls. Using a normal walking stick was painful and when I wobbled, my stick wasn't always enough as my wrist could not always take the strain. I bought these as a test, thinking that if they worked, I might buy a more expensive pair, but these have been great. Much less pain when using a stick. With these the weight is no longer going through my wrist. I am more stable, with less worry, and much more comfortable using the crutch as a stick replacement. I also added 25mm Flexyfoot Crutch Ferrules (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08JZGP8SG), which make it more comfortable and stable when using the crutches. A brilliant combination. I keep one in the car, and the other in the house, so I always have one with me. If you buy the Flexyfoot ferrules, make sure they are the crutch ones and not the normal walking stick ones - there is a difference, extra black rubber rings.

These crutches are very comfortable on the arm and are very supportive, even for those on the larger side like myself. They can be set at a large range of heights, I am 5'11 and still have a few notches to spare. My nerve damage is not exacerbated by these crutches, so what more can I ask for?!They are slightly bulkier than your average elbow crutch, which is to be expected, however they may not be suitable for those with small cars such as a corsa or micra.

After years of using traditional crutches I developed a problem with the joints at the base of my thumbs. My physio recommended this style of crutch.PROS: Your weight is taken by your fore-arm rather than your thumb joint. You can tuck your purse & phone under the Velcro & don't always have to take a bag with you. They feel more stable & solid that my old crutches.CONS: I am 5'1" and my crutches are on the lowest setting. These wouldn't be suitable for people who shorter than me. I'm not happy with the quality of the cover. It's very plasticy & cheap looking. Also sweaty & uncomfortable when wearing short sleeves. Within 1 hour of use the cover had been badly damaged by resting the crutches on shop/bank counters etc when I needed to use my hands . The cover is difficult to replace as the velcro straps are firmly sewn into it. These are heavier than my previous crutches & a bit top heavy so fall when resting more easily. However, when using them, the weight is taken by your forearm so they don't feel cumbersome.Happy to answer questions.

These are what I was looking for, I couldn't afford the ones I wanted as they were near £300 a pair, these are my pocket price in todays economy and are comfy on my arms and do the exact same job as the £300 pair would have done, so in my mind now these are better, so thankyou for making an affordable pair for the everyday person like myself

They don't hold the arm well enough so feel really unstable.

Bit heavy, but they'll have to do cos i need crutches and i have arthritis in my hands so i can't hold normal crutches

Keeps the body upright, no slouching into the pain.
