Puffin Project Fairy: Discover a brand new magical adventure from Jacqueline Wilson

To be honest I was kind of dissapointed in this one. I loved the beautiful illustrations (a very good pick for the theme) but the story lacked MAGIC. Unfortunately, it made having a small fairy seem ordinary and the little fairy 'Bindweed' is always in a state of weakness due to a longing to be free among others of her kind and lack of proper fairy nourishment. I love fairy stories and films but I never warmed to Bindweed because she is rude to Mab the main character, but there is still a love there I feel. An okay book but I wanted more whimsy I guess and the absolute awe over finding such an amazing little being we mostly don't believe even exists. I guess I just didn't feel that amazement.
