High quality construction, beautiful, but very loud (SOLVED).
The media could not be loaded. Ten years ago, we put a Delta faucet in our kitchen and it has been wonderful, so we thought we'd give it a try to replace the 20-year-old Moen in the bathroom. This one actually looks nicer than the old Moen. Very good quality construction too. Many of the comparable low-price models have the removable lower half of the neck which is where the leaks/rusting usually begin. This one is solid. The only problem, and the reason I'm lowering it to 4-star is that it is very loud. Irrationally loud. I'm trying to find out if there is a low-noise aerator replacement. If not, we'll just remove the aerator entirely. See the video. I apologize for the vertical video layout, but it was the best layout to capture it.UPDATE (April 18, 2019): I contacted Delta to see if they had a less restrictive aerator. They told me no, but they were sending me a replacement anyways. The one that arrived is green as opposed to the pink one (see image). Note that the pink one seems to have a washer-like insert that is probably adding to the flow restriction and causing all of the extra noise. I installed their new green one and the faucet noise is no longer deafening.

Wondering why the set-screw holes are where they are
I just had this faucet installed. As others have said it seems to be sturdy, made of metal and has no fragile thin plastic feel anywhere. The price (for chrome anyway) seems unbeatable for how well it is made. One thing that puzzles me though is the placement of the holes to access the set screws. They are present, one on each side, you can see in the photo the one for the cold water handle. I understand the purpose is to be able to tighten the handle if it becomes loose. However, every time I brush my teeth and I look at how prominent they are I wonder why they couldn't have been placed at least a little more towards the back a little more out of sight. The little hex wrench they supply is short enough that it could work in a relatively tight space. It still seems a great faucet for the price and I will probably get used to the holes or they will become less apparent after things start to accumulate on the sink again.

Lacks plastic plugs for faucet handle set screw holes
This is a good faucet set with a single little annoyance. We installed one last year and just bought a second for another bathroom. I had forgotten that the earlier one did was not supplied with plastic red and blue (hot and cold) plugs for the set screw holes in the faucet bodies. I installed in it an extra set of plugs that came with another brand of faucet.Today when we opened the new faucet and found no plugs I called Delta to express my displeasure. Their answer was that this model doesn't come with plugs, an absolutely brilliant response! The decision to exclude these simple items which would cost pennies leads me to rate this item a 3. Without plugs the set screw holes become filled with soap residue, so that when you need to remove or tighten the faucet handle you first have to get the little Allen, or hex, wrench through the gunk. I advised the Delta rep. that not including the plugs is a mistake, but I'm sure little attention will be given my complaint.

Delta Haywood 2-Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet with Drain Assembly.
Nice unit even though it is made in China. Functions well and the install is a snap. The downside is the plastic drain assembly is useless. Order a Delta Faucet RP26533 Drain Assembly along with your faucet to save yourself time and frustration.

Standard replacement faucet, not very high end
Faucets are fine, they do what they're supposed to do. The reason I docked two stars is in the way Delta attaches the handles to the faucet. They are connected with very small male/male allen screws which is fine but....on the sides of the handles where you install you will be left with two holes that -to me- is unsightly. Delta should have supplied caps instead of two gaping holes one for each handle, this is a very poor design and diminishes the higher end look they should provide to consumers.

Real Deal
Heavy duty, actual Delta faucet. Not at all like the big-box hardware store versions of the same style, this is all hefty brass, steel and PVC.Installation was easy enough, but our sink does not accommodate a pop-up drain and this equipment wasn't installed. Only some plumber's tape and a couple wrenches were required for one person to do it in a little over an hour. Removing the old faucet was the hardest part.Handles are heavy but turn smoothly and silently. The screw holes on the handles do not come with plugs, so are glaringly visible. Overall it looks nice in a transitional style bath.Water pressure (and loudness) is a bit stronger than I'd like, but this may have to do with the aerator (which I suppose could be replaced with a less "jet-spray" version.)

Excellent construction, but REALLY LOUD aerator
Very good materials, particularly for the price-- metal all the way through, base included--which is why I chose it above the analogous Moen model (whose base is metal-resembling-plastic). If you don't mind an INCREDIBLY loud water flow, it's a well made faucet. But it has a recessed aerator, making the actual flux of water really narrow, maybe half the diameter of the tap. Water flow significanly louder than any other faucet I have ever used. Anywhere. Thought we'd get used to it, but no.Gets more annoying with time, even in the middle of the day when noise isn't especially a big deal. Return window closed before we decided it was just too loud to keep using it so giving it away (to someone hard of hearing, or as scrap metal). If you need a faucet for a bathroom near bedrooms where you don't want to wake people up, get something else.

Fabulous Faucet *Updated*
*** A year later I moved this faucet to a new vanity and it’s still going strong. Still highly recommend! This faucet is great. Made of quality materials, relatively easy to install and looks great!I researched extensively before buying for my powder room and will now be ordering another for my hall bath.Impressed with the look, durability and materials of this faucet. I’m a 44 year old white collar worker and was able to put this in myself.Read the instructions first, have the proper tools handy, and you should be done in less than 30 min.

A Must Buy
I couldn't find a faucet I liked the look of so I settled for this one turns out it is super elegant and modern , it reminds me of a modern day castle bathroom faucet . I researched for the best brand faucets and delta came up as the best so let's see,I enjoy the life time warranty as well, looking forward to seeing if they honour this if anything were to go wrong.
