This roll of tracing paper is consistently smooth and there are no nubs to deal with. It is transparent enough to show up on multicolored background with no problems.

I purchased this item to use for tracing sewing patterns. This worked perfectly for my needs.

I have been acquainted with Bienfang and Speedball for over forty years. They are names that I associate with the highest quality, and this tracing paper is no exception. The paper is smooth and has a consistent translucency. I picked up both the white and the canary yellow. The white is great against dark colors, and the canary yellow is terrific both for contrast against white and when your eyes just need something less bright to look at.These have so many uses, and oh, how I wish I'd had these when I was working in preshool. Yes, it's great for professionals, but also students, crafters, and teachers. Just a few uses:* Gift wrapping: Wrap over a patterned wrap for a subtle look.* Patterns for bulletin boards, sewing, scrapbooking, cardmaking, etc.* Making paper snowflakes and flowers* Planning journaling pages* Tracing practice for calligraphy, handwritingI am very happy to have these, and they are one thing that definitely will not be going to waste! I will say typically when I buy transfer paper I pick up white paper but I had the option to get this for free and try it out. As far as the cost to quality of this compared other papers I have picked up in the past, its quite good. You can occasionally find heavier pulp spots or even full plant debris in cheaper rolls but I have yet to run into that yet with these and I am already into the second roll. My only actual gripe with this is that I do sometimes have a little bit of a hard time seeing my line through it BUT that is actually a issue more with my lighting and home as well as that it is a yellow paper so I can't really dock it for that.Simply put its a fine product.

This roll of parchment colored tracing paper is difficult to tear, although it is easy enough to cut off of the roll with scissors. It wrinkles fairly easily (as paper does). That shouldn’t be too prohibitive in your tracing if you have it taped down or if you are holding it down while you draw. This works well for tracing designs, cutting out sewing patterns, or other sketching or crafting uses. The roll is kind of narrow, so if you are making a large sewing project, you may need to tape more than one piece together. This would be a good gift for an artist who likes to use tracing paper, or someone who sews clothing from patterns.

We teach our granddaughter at home and have many projects to help her learn. Some of the projects are crafts to help teach her coordination while others are to improve her skills. I got this tracing paper to help with educating her by using it to create images for her color. We wanted it to be strong enough to endure her strong arm when she erases her work. We also wanted to use it to create patterns so she can practice cutting.This tracing paper is very nice to work with. This paper is thin and smooth. Pencils move easily across the surface and my gel ink pens dry quicker on this paper than my regular notebook paper. The paper is thin enough that you can still see images when you have 3 layers of the paper. If you use your fingers to tear off a piece of paper, it tears easily but you can keep it in somewhat of a straight line going against the grain. I think this would be good used in making patterns for sewing as well. Good price for this amount of quality paper. I'll have to find out if they sell wider rolls too.

This tracing paper is pretty much perfect for drafting. It's two massive rolls. The paper holds up really well to erasing even though it looks so thin. The transparency level is perfect for working on a lightbox.
