Lovely Story
I really liked this little book. Such a feel good story . So encouraging to women who find themselves starting over and needing a new network of friends. If you love books and reading then this book will put a smile on your face.

Short and sweet
Read in one morning, a pleasant story. Have ordered another of her books to find out if her full-length books are better.

Pleasant read
More could have been written in this short book, enjoyable but wanted more of a story

Great short novel
I ordered this as it had been written by one of the authors of 'Murder for beginners' which I greatly enjoyed. It is not a short story but a bit shorter than a book and, I know you shouldn't judge a book by it, but the cover is irresistible. It was a really heartwarming story - and would recommend as worth reading.

short story
This lovely story, about ordinary people in today’s hectic world. It was a charming read leaving a warm feeling and longing to know how the story would evolve. You can never have enough books….just places to put them, this is worth your time ……so give it a go!

Sweet story but banal.
A short very easy to read syrupy story, fine if you like to finish the book within an hour.

Sweet tale
A short story from Liz Hedgecock, The Book Swap is an excellent tale about finding a place in your new community, creating a niche that speeds your melding into this new place life finds you now. I enjoyed Becca, and like most of us, I've been there, too, the new Mom on the block. It was good to see this simple tale. It is one I will share with the great-nieces and great-nephews.This is the first cover Liz Hedgecock painted especially for one of her tales - and it's excellent!

if you blink yuo might miss it
i was totally bemused to find what looks like a reading primer. i bought this for my daughter, who is not a toddler, but 51. to call this a slim volume is flattering it. if you cant write a proper book i say forget it.

Was expecting a body…
I kept expecting a dead body to show up stuffed in the book swap booth. When it didn’t happen, I was still surprised at how much I enjoyed this delightful little story. (The book share near me is more on the lines of a large bird house, so no chance of a DB in that.) Thanks too for the idea of how to use old books!

Lovely read, not what I expected.
What an interesting visit to the UK and the life of a character so vividly real. I absolutely love where it ended. The high note left me smiling and nodding my head. Thank you, Liz Hedgecock.
