Worth your literal money!
I bought these because my fiance and I needed to start bringing lunch into work as good prices are just getting ridiculous to eat out. So, I bought the cooler pack and the lunchbox pack. These packs are amazing!Differences in use. I work in an office with limited fridge space and my fiance is someone who works outside a lot so a fridge isn't always available. So, saying this!!! The cooler packs are his, they keep his food cold for at LEAST 10 hours. By the time he is home his lunchbox isn't warm inside but it isnt as cold, but keep in mind he leaves his lunchbox in a hot car. I'm sure in the winter it'll be MUCH better, but it keeps his food cold for when it's time to eat and that's all that matters. Which he doesn't leave the lunchbox inside his hot car, the lunchbox is still very much cold when he brings it home.My experience with my lunchbox pack, again. My situation is different. I am inside a building where there's AC in the summer and heat in the winter. Pampered over here. So my lunchbox sits on my desk and I take my food out as I want it throughout the day. I USUALLY have a breakfast yogurt, a energy coffee drink and a protein shake. Sometimes I have veggies and fruits and hummus as well. The ice packs, I use all five, freeze my protein shake LOL! Sometimes my yogurt. I can put something in there that's warm and by the time I want it, it's COLD. My lunchbox feels like a literal fridge sometimes a freezer. Idk if it's the combination of the ice packs and the lunchbox, but I am VERY satisfied.

Worth the $$$
I bought these a little over two years ago. I have a backpack cooler that I bring to my farm job three days a week and also use when I go to the beach (I live on the east coast, so that is often.) And when I go fishing with my man. Basically I use it all of the time. I bought them both at the same time and they are both still looking brand new. I do not regret this purchase at all. They still work as good as the day I bought them. I’m actually looking into purchasing the same set up for my guy. Highly recommend. Cheaper and more efficient than ice.

Must have if you are a traveling mama!
For some months I have been planning to travel abroad with my family, and the idea of keeping my breastmilk frozen gave me a lot of stress. So I decided to give this product a shot, and it was so worth it!!! After a delay and, later, a missed flight, I ended up traveling for 30 hours, and when I finally decided to open the cooler, from the 8 breastmilk frozen bags (motif) that I bring, 5 were still frozen and 3 just started to defrost. You cannot imagine how happy I was after all the setbacks.I 100% recommend this product to every mum that needs to keep her stuff cold, for short or long periods of times.

For the people in the back.... These cannot be emptied when not in use.
So... I didn't realize these ice packs worked the way they do. I THOUGHT this was a reusable pouch that I could fill with water, freeze, use to keep items cold and then empty out the water and store flat until I needed it again. We were having a scheduled power outage and I thought ice would help keep the fridge cooler longer while the power was temporarily out. Since this is the second scheduled outage recently, I thought buying a pack I could store flat in a drawer would be ideal since freezer space is at a premium. I already have two hard plastic ice packs that take up room. The arrived the day of the outage, leaving me with not much time to fill up and freeze one. Worked great in tandem with the other plastic ice packs. Fridge stayed cool enough. We haven't noticed any spoilage of fridge contents. (This pack wouldn't stand up, so I actually placed one of the hard plastic packs in between two gallons of milk which I think was key.)Today, I go to empty out the pack, so I could store it flat. I squeeze out a little of the gel thinking it was just a frosty cork, and only then did I realize what was going on.I showed a friend the pack and asked how they thought it worked, and they too thought it was a water-in-water-out situation.I'm now thinking I ruined the pack. I didn't measure the water. I didn't release air bubbles. I didn't shake it. I didn't install the cork. Its a bit rounded with how I filled it. And didn't have the room to freeze it perfectly flat. I guess I know for the next two, should I ever use them. At this point, I'm hoping this thing can live outside my freezer and that it doesn't ruin the functionality of the gel because it takes up a lot of space and I don't need giant ice packs regularly. I wish I had ordered the smaller version as I'd get more use out of those for trips to the grocery store, etc. I don't even have room to freeze 3 of these things at once. So, don't "just add water" like I did. There's rules for this thing. Also, instructions say to freeze the packs 24-48 hours before use, so this isn't a last minute solution (like ice) either.I'll have to do a real test, but I'm not sure they performed better than the hard-plastic packs I already had. I prefer the usability (flat, standup, lay down) of those, but if these Cooler Shock bags do stay cooler longer, than thats obviously an important feature.Anyway, works great, I guess. I agree its less of a watery mess than 6lbs of ice and lasts longer, but its a solid, slick block. Unlike ice, you cant nest things into it, like cans or bottles. I imagine it would take longer than ice to cool any items that aren't already cold due to potentially limited contact. I see some people use these packs to keep the ice in their coolers cold, which is pretty funny. Oddly, that makes sense!

Still Cold
I had bought a set of these years ago for lunch bags at work, etc. They stay cold a long time and are very durable. We've lost a few since then so I needed to buy more. It was a no brainer buying the updated version. Initial setup was just as easy and they hold their cold like the last set.

better than ice. 12+ hours
The Best ice packs, better than ice. I work 12-14 hr days outside in AZ in 100+ degrees and put like 4 of these and some ice in my plastic cooler. It stays cold. Melts some by maybe hour 10 but this is extreme climate /sun not average camping or car use where I bet itd last 24 hrs +. even in a less insulated cooler backpack it held up good for about 5 hours outside in 100 degrees
