Ordered for my two grand daughters 2 & 3 yeas old. They love them. Not as sturdy on carpet. They kinda roll, which is a problem but when they fall on carpet it's cushioned. Easy to put together and configuration can be easily changed. I did try to cancel this order because I realized it wouldn't come in time for the party, but even within minutes I was unable to do it. Thought about returning, but instead just kept them at my house for when the girls come to visit. I liked to color, but ended up getting the natural.

My three year old loves to balance on every available surface, and so when I saw these balance beams they seemed like an obvious addition.The beams and their bases come packed in a bright orange carrying tote. We'd ordered the three plank set, and it packs up small and is light enough for carrying for use on play dates or moving from indoors to outdoors on nice days. Construction is straight forward, place the beams on the pegs on the bases, and my little girl had a lot of fun helping daddy put them together. The planks are nicely sanded, and we didn't find any rough edges or splinters. The wood appears to be a pine like material, and it has been painted in gentle pastel tones. The bases do not have any non-slip feet so it can move about on hardwood floors, but we haven't had any problems with it. Overall I am very impressed, it feels like a nicely finished, quality product even with such simple construction.In use, it is a brilliant toy for encouraging balance, and for imagination play. In just one afternoon my daughter practiced balancing on it, then made it into a triangle and pretended she was a chimney sweep in Mary Poppins dancing on the chimney top and leaping down the chimney. A little later it had been reconfigured yet again to be Moana's boat as she sailed across the floor in search of adventure.So it's an obvious 5 out of 5 from me. It is well made, stores easily, fits together well, and my little girl loves it.On the hardwood floor in our living room the bases slipped a

- Great playroom addition- easy to assemble- use adult supervision- children enjoyed the balance beam- I would recommend getting two sets to add another level of challenge- three colors- could use as a single straight line, zig zag or as a triangle- came with a helpful storage case. The zip broke on ours however the case is still functional

This is made of super light wood but it still feels really solid. It’s fairly thick so it will hold a decent amount of weight, and all the wood beams snap into the supporting blocks really well, they all have a tight fit. They have a nice carrying bag too, for when not in use, although the zipper on that is really cheap and it broke the first time I was trying to put everything back into the bag because it was such a tight fit. I do wish the bag was a little bigger so you could easily put all the beams and blocks in without straining the zipper at its seams in order to figure out how to put it back in, but as far as the actual product goes, my kids enjoy it.

I was expecting this to be a little bit bigger than what it is but it’s still pretty cute. Definitely great for kids ranging 1-3 years of age. My 4 year old wasn’t too impressed.
