MyerchinGeneration 2 Crew Linerlock, One Size

I like the knife as it is well balanced, easy to use and really sharp. I was surprised to find a bit of rust already only after only 1 month of living on my boat. I would have expected a better grade stainless (316). That said, I still enjoy the knife and have other ways of dealing with the rust.

I'm learning how to make eye splices from my dad & a Marlin spike makes the process so much easier. He's not yet ready to pass the whole torch so I'm looking for my own Sailors Knife. I liked that this one has a straight edge blade & the Marlin Spike is small. It's lightweight & comfortable to hold. What I DON'T like is that Marlin Spike doesn't open straight but at an angle. The blade doesn't lock open either. I can't speak for how it works, longevity or craftsmanship over time bcuz I'm returning it to find one with a straight spike & locking blade.

Quality everyday carry knife. Perfect size & hand feel. Well made. Can’t wait to use it on the water in my sailboat this Summer!

Five stars just are not enough. I'm Impressed with the knife. Sharp enough to shave the hair on your arm.
