We bought this as a Christmas gift for the kids, and they were excited to play with it right away. The kinetic sand was a big hit and made the game feel different from the usual board games we have. It was easy for them to understand, and they actually played together without arguing, which was a nice bonus. They kept coming back to it after Christmas, and it’s one of those games that keeps them entertained without screens. Overall, it was a fun gift and definitely worth it.

My kid loves the butt book series, so when I found this game, I just had to buy it. Upon first opening, I wondered how well the game would play out, but it's quite easy to follow along and my kid loves it! Literally asks to play it every day. It doesn't take too long to do a round - maybe around 15 minutes.

This game was a hit right out of the box. The silly concept and banana-scented dough got a lot of laughs during our first few rounds, and it was easy enough for my younger child to join in with minimal help. That said, the excitement wore off pretty fast. After a couple of play sessions, my son lost interest, and it hasn’t been pulled out since. It’s still a fun party game or icebreaker, but probably not something kids will keep coming back to over and over.

This game is awesome! We love the I broke my butt series and this game is just like the books. Great game for all ages.

This game is so exciting and fun to play with my grandkids! Easy/ quick set up. We have all played it ages 4-54, and laughed and enjoyed the strategic moves to try and save your own player. Would highly recommend any grandparent looking for a fun easy game to enjoy with the grands get this game now!

I was looking for something fun and different to keep my little one entertained, and this game has been such a hit. My 3-year-old absolutely loves it! The kinetic sand is really engaging, and it’s not just fun but also great for sensory play and learning. The pieces are easy for little hands to manage, and the game itself is simple enough that even younger kids can join in without getting frustrated. We’ve played it together as a family and it’s just as entertaining for adults as it is for kids. I love that it sparks their imagination and keeps them busy without screens. It’s also surprisingly easy to clean up, which is always a win for parents. Definitely one of the best toy purchases I’ve made recently, and I’d recommend it to anyone with preschoolers or young kids who enjoy hands-on play

I can’t find an answer on a few rules that were immediately in question. It would be nice to know if 1) a player that was already eliminated can still grab the ruby if it falls through several turns after their elimination. 2) we played twice and both times one of the characters fell off the board. The rules are clear that the characters don’t need to remain standing, but don’t address the issue of them falling off an edge (not through the sand). Great game for young kids but my boys were fighting pretty quick about grabbing the ruby. My one boy was already eliminated and waiting and watching and we weren’t sure if he was even eligible to grab it to get back in. When the ruby fell he went for it and it resulted in one squeezing the others hand to get back in and the other in tears. Normal Brother stuff in many ways, but I didn’t love them having to race for the small gem. Sort of seems like a recipe for dust with young siblings. It was great with just me and one of the kids though. Just wish they specified whether an already eliminated player is even eligible to get the ruby or if it is just for the players still on the board.

Really sturdy game, that has survived multiple hours of family fun, with our 2 and 4 year old!. Easy to use and almost guaranteed to make your children laugh.
