Larger than I thought they would be but still good for every day wear.

Lovely design.

They are bigger than I thought, but not so big that they look silly on an 'older lady':-) Even my husband thought they were nice, so a) he noticed them and b) felt sufficiently impressed to say so.... Not an everyday occurence. I also love the fact that I'm unlikely to lose them because of the fitting which closes, rather than the shepherd's hook fitting, which is also lovely, but I've been losing one of a pair quite regularly recently, which is sad.

I had been looking for a pair of “Vermeer - type” earrings for some time and these are the largest and nicest shape I have found. I’m very pleased with them and have had several compliments already. The wires with hinged backs make them very secure. If I could change one thing it would be to make the front of the wires slightly more decorative - but without spoiling the simplicity of the design.
