SANSCO 3K All-Metal Housing CCTV Security Camera System, 24/7 Recording

I bought this SANSCO 1080P bullet camera as an add-on for my existing DVR system, and it’s excellent value. The full metal housing feels solid and durable — no plastic at all. Installation was straightforward: mount it, connect the cable, and it’s plug-and-play ready straight out of the box. Picture quality is crisp and detailed with rich, natural colours, both day and night. The 100ft night vision works really well, giving a clear image even in complete darkness. I’ve had another SANSCO camera running for two years without a single issue, which speaks volumes about reliability. IP67 waterproofing gives me confidence it’ll handle rain and dust outdoors with no problems. The wide-angle lens covers a good area, perfect for eliminating blind spots. If mounting outside, I’d suggest picking up a junction box to protect the connectors — they’re cheap and worth it. Overall, a solid, dependable camera that’s easy to set up and beats my older cameras on picture quality. I’d happily buy more and would recommend it to family and friends.

With the help and advice from Grace at Sansco we just purchased another camera from Sansco as my new dvr unit has 8 channels, and these cameras have the compatibility and connectivity to connect to our existing unit, so I figured I’d increase my viewing capability, these cameras are top notch, incredibly easy to set up, hard wired so never let you down and adjustable for all angles, the top cover slides back and forth too to stop and sun glare on the lens which also prolongs the lens lifetime, also the glows red at nighttime which is a great deterrent and as you can see from the attached images provides a good image when it’s dark, simple to install would really recommend Sansco, great value for money👍

As per most of the other reviewers I have had no issues so far. The mountings seem robust and the picture quality, both day and night are acceptable for a system on the lower end of the spec. The IR range seems to be a little further than they state, but then I may be benefiting from the ambient light from the several street lights near my property. Fitting a drive was a breeze, 5 screws on the box, two connectors and then four drive screws and then replace the cover. The set up was simple, the only issue was that the QR code points to a version of XMEye not compatible with the latest Android OS, so went to the Play Store, downloaded the latest version and it was plain sailing from that point. The IR LED's do glow in the dark, so from certain angles will be very obvious, but that said, part of the reason I got was deterrence. The functionality of the DVR system far exceeds that of the cameras supplied, so the system is up-gradable once you feel you need better cameras. The software supports PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) via the RS242 interface so that may well be my next step (to replace 1 bullet and 1 dome camera with PTZ cameras - leaving me with spares for the other 6 and an upgraded system). Point of note, cant see anyway of using it or controlling anything other than by wire. If you want wireless options then this is not the system for you. That said, a wired system is far more robust, given how cluttered 2.4 MHZ is any residential area (with the inherent risks of drop outs due to accidental or even deliberate interference). All in all for the price I paid, I am very happy with my purchase. 21 May 17 - Still very happy with the system - paid for itself when we got a clear shot of someone damaging one of our cars - resultant video led to out of court settlement to replace rear screen on car - additionally as its registered local police will sometimes ask for video footage for crime detection - so if its good enough for them, its doing its job!

Bought this package after reading the reviews on Amazon and watching lots of usage videos on YouTube. Whilst this isn't up there with the top end models, it does a very good job. Picture quality during the day is clear. Bit of noise in the picture during the night, but otherwise OK. Zooming in, the picture is still quite clear. Had a couple of faulty BNC cables which I've contacted the seller about, who have agreed to replace FoC. Can view footage via the CCTV console and also remotely via phone app, XMEye. Remote access setup was easy, managed to complete in a few minutes. However, there are 2 things I'm not so sure about when viewing the footage via the CCTV console. You can view a single timeline in the console or for every single camera. 1) you can't move the timeline in sync across all camera timelines - each one is controlled separately 2) when in single timeline mode for multiple cameras, some of the events do not show up unless viewed for camera in question Instructions are very simple for getting the system started - not comprehensive though. I didn't try the mini CD, managed to break it putting the CCTV back into the box after inspection. On the whole a decent piece of kit in terms of what you're getting.

I’ve been using the SANSCO Super FHD 1080p CCTV Bullet Camera to replace my older camera and it’s been reliable with clear footage, good night vision and a sturdy waterproof build. Very pleased with it and priced reasonably. Grace from Sansco has been helpful in answering my initial queries.

Product consists of 8 cameras, a DVR box, some printed instructions, a CD, and a cloud service for remote viewing of data. The equipment: Only tested two of the cameras but they seemed well made. The DVR box is quite simple and it was fairly easy to install the HDD. Instructions: So badly written that each sentence has to be read 2-3 times to interpret its likely meaning. The CD contains instructions that are equally badly written and almost impossible to follow. I quote: "If you are first time to use this, please start here (or follow the introduction in chapter 1.2 1.3 to login), if not, please skip directly." I tried to sign-up for remote viewing via this company's cloud service but I couldn't get past the first page. The HTML form refused to accept the address format provided which was "house name, house number, street name, city name, postcode"... I am a busy company director without much spare time. I got the impression that to continue to try and use this product I would have to spend quite a lot of time on the phone to the company for additional support, hence the reluctant neutral review and return.

After purchasing Sansco products previously and finding them to be of an extremely high quality I purchased this 2mp HD camera. It is sleek, robust and will become a great addition to my existing Sansco CCTV system. Knowing that the brand is reputable and the standards are high ensures that I always check for Sansco products first, Grace at Customer Service is very quick to respond to any queries and is very helpful which is reassuring. I bought the system with eight cameras and was happy with the product until the cameras, one after the other, stopped transmitting images to the system. I contacted the company and was sent a replacement. Then a few of the cameras went foggy and stopped working. And now, the DVR has stopped working. Have tried everything that I possibly could but it just doesn't work. When I contacted the company, SANSCO refused to replace it as it has been three years. I argued saying that DVRs are supposed to work for more than three years. They sent me a link to buy another DVR for £54.99, and eventually stopped replying to my messages when I asked them to replace it free of cost. I was initially happy with the product but now I am looking at replacing it totally with a new system, which is going to cost me a few hundred quid. Please think before you buy this one.
