Got this for our pool and this box is great! No water gets inside and there have never been any leaks1 It does its job wonderfully. During a terrible rainstorm this got left outside. Our cord was in perfect condition and no water got inside the box!

I am using this waterproof extension cord coupling box on my outdoor patio and deck. Works great. Plenty of room inside for multiple connections.

The box itself looks as described, is easy to assemble. Looks like it would do the job. It was too small for my purpose, so I tried to return it. Taking it to an actual ups store does offer free return but just forming a label is a 6.99 charge?? And the closest ups store to me is 25 miles away, so I'd spend that in gas either way. My only hope now is to gift it I guess but when so many other places can just form a label to download/print yourself? Just not the right seller for me.

I used this connector box to connect a solar micro inverter mounted on a shed in my backyard to a cable leading into my house. The micro inverter came with a status monitor that was not designed for outdoor use. I was able to fit the status monitor into the connection box and it worked perfectly.

Good value, used to house pesky oversized plugs. For 100% water resistance I suggest a bead of silicone. Drilled two holes in bottom and hung on wall with fender washers.
