No sting, decent pop, son loves it
My son is 11 and has played for eight seasons, now. We had a 2018 Easton Ghost X Hyperlite, which not only did not have much pop, but also stung like a honeybee and made my son afraid to hit the ball hard. He struggled so much he almost gave up baseball; and I’m his team’s coach. We even downgraded to a used wooden bat just to keep him interested, and he preferred the wood bat to the Ghost X Hyperlite. This bat lives up to its “no sting” reputation. After really struggling to hit in previous seasons, he is now loading up and smacking the ball hard. HARD. Even without batting gloves. Hard ground balls, high fly balls. And big, proud smiles from my son, which is the best reward. He now asks to go practice hitting in the park, which he NEVER did before. Each hit also “sounds” right: more like a wooden bat than many other USA bats, with no metallic “ping.”We did get some chips on the paint in the first season, which is unusual. But I expected that after reading the review, so I accepted that before even buying it. However, after several seasons, it still is in very good shape. We also got a -8 instead of a -10, which I suspect helps with the sting: more weight in the bat to not only hit the ball with more momentum, but also to dampen vibration. I think that helped. It also helps that we got it on 2019 clearance price. No need to get a 2021 model. USA bats are not that much different year to year, and this one is great. Very happy!

This bat ROCKS!!
I searched for days for a new bat for my son as he moved up to 13 yr old Babe Ruth and couldn't seem to get a clean hit on the larger fields that they now play on. His older bat just didn't have enough "POP" to make anything meaningful out of a good swing. He was 1 for 14 prior to the switch, and now has gone 5 for 10 since. He's small for his age and even thought a 32/22 was a big change from 29/19 he feels so much more confident now as he can see the difference in how the ball comes off the bat on a good swing. Ground balls and line drives to second are now singles into the outfield, and his confidence at the plate increases with every game. I strongly urge you to consider this bat if you're looking to make a similar change. For reference my son is 5' 1" and 85 lbs. Good Luck!

Great bat for little league
My 12 year old needed a longer bat for his last year of little league. He did all his own research and decided on this one. So far he likes it. The composite two piece design is easier on his hands when he crushes balls to the fence, and the tapered grip at the knob helps too since he grips at the knob and the knob doesn't dig into his hand like his old bat.

Great bat.
Bat has great pop and a well balanced swing. Perfect bat for any little league player at a good price.

$80 slugger bat, can’t go wrong
It is a bit heavier than described, and is pretty end loaded. But for the price of $80 and my 11yr olds last year of little league it is a really good bat. He used it for the first time at assessments and 3-5 balls hit for home runs were in the 230ft + range. My son said he doesn’t fee any vibration at all and feels like his swing has more speed. It’s a buy again for me and I would buy a drop 5 of my son was a bigger kid.

So far so good
My 11 year old son has only used it once in the cages (live arm and machine) but already prefers it over his -10 CF Zen (also a USA bat). Pop seems significantly better than the Zen but would expect it given this bat is a -8. Zero hand sting and while it feels a pinch end-loaded v. the Zen, nothing too noticeable. Will get a better gauge against live pitching.Update: So my son used this throughout his All star season just raked. Compared to his old bat, CF Zen, the ball just popped. This is a sleeper bat and considering the price, is an absolute steal.

A power level up from the 618/619.
This bat is a 30 inch -8. My son swings the popular 618 -11. Mind you he will be 9 in December but is a bigger kid at 4’9 and 80 pounds. In addition to a heavier wood bat, my son is currently swinging this 719 in practice and at the cages. It’s a good weight to swing to get him used to a bat that will carry the ball farther as his strength increases. He pulls with it so it’s not too heavy. I think he will graduate to this bat within a couple of months or so.
