To old for my truck!I tough they was the same as a 2002 pedestal. But no.

Clean out pedestal with carb cleaner and air compressors
Parts look decent, doesn’t come with bolts or at least mine didn’t. Sounds like you want to use originals anyway, they all fit unlike description. Be weary of stripping bolts, I had to re thread two up pipe bolts. Other than that be ready to fabricate your own tools to reach bolts near firewall it takes tons of patience- 6-12 beer job min.

Cost effective upgrade/fix
Obviously a pain to install but worth every penny to stop my oil leaking from my ebvp

Popped right on my 97.

Terrible casting
The casting is absolutely terrible. Installed into truck and it leaked right away. Tore it back apart to find that the small oil port leaks into one of the bolt holes. Tested with compressed air and it leaks pretty bad. Gotta love it!

great replacement
Great replacement to the OEM Junk! good luck fighting the old one off, but once this one is on you are good to go.
