As far as I can tell this does the job very nicely. Heats up very well and my instruments come out visibly cleaner. I have absolutely no complaints about this. Im very happy with product.

The product worked for a whole month.

No where in the instructions or on the box does it say to remove the blue film. Unfortunately I ran it and now it’s stuck and smells burnt. This may have been user error but I read instructions and it wasn’t on there.

I need to get a new tray. I’ve only used the item a couple months now, but the metal tray insert warped. I’d like to get a new one.

The media could not be loaded. The operation of this cleaning box is so easy no real effort is required. Before using the box you must remove all of the blue protective film on/around the silver trays inside. While cleaning is in process there is a low clicking sound and when cleaning is done there is a ding. The machine comes with two rings to help remove the cleaning tray, it would have been nice if they were able to hook on the black handles on the machine for safe keeping. There is also a plastic white container included that can be used to store some tools, clean or dirty or to clean them with some sanitizing solution.I used the machine on a low setting for a short amount of time(under ten minutes) and the outside barely got warm.

The media could not be loaded. I used this to sterilize some medical steel tools and it worked great. I was expecting more smell from this but it was only a faint smell that was barely noticeable. It does cut off properly when the timer runs out but the timer can not be turned off without having it naturally run down by itself, that I could find. Mine included a bag with an extra fuse and two rings, used for pulling the inside tray out while hot. I just let it cool while unplugged before touching anything. It also comes with a plastic case for storing other things in and the power cable.

Make sure you take off the blue plastic coating on the trays before use! It does not say this anywhere on the included instructions. I had to learn this the hard way.
