My son loves both these books. They are educational but fun. Children often fear bugs and insects, but the books encourage them to explore the nature around them rather than feeling scared. The books are bright and colourful and easy for little ones to understand. We love the spider and butterfly 3D models too! Well done Jess!

We have done lots of things with our grandson that we wouldn't have thought of giving us all lots of fun while he is learning. This and Jess's other book are always his first choice from his book shelf, definitely worth purchasing.

Just as good as the tickly volume and equally appreciated by my granddaughter!

Another wonderful, interactive book about our flying mini beasts. Parent and child are taken through an exploration and investigation of butterflies, dragonfly’s and moths (to name a few – there are many more) in an exciting and interactive way. Again each book comes with a pop up model allowing children to interact with the story and appreciate the features of these creatures.My favourite thing about this book is the educational value it holds coupled with its vibrant colours, fun and simple layout and variety of pictures. This book is more than just a bed time read, it comes out by day and it comes out at night. Throughout the book are a variety of day-time activity suggestions, for example moth searching, butterfly feeding and pond searching. The book also acts as a great way of developing children into using books for learning with a child friendly glossary and index.Along with the ‘Tickly Minibeast Adventure’, I have no doubt my four year old will be using this book to plan his spring/ summer mini beast adventures.

Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loves the Minibeast TV series so we purchased this book along with Tickly Minibeast Adventures for her forthcoming birthday. We are delighted with it and very excited to start our own Minibeast adventures with her. It is well written and the beautiful illustrations make it appealing for younger children. The pop up butterfly at the back of this book is a lovely added touch. We will be purchasing more copies as presents for friend's children.

What a great interactive reading experience this book is. My children really enjoy this book and is one of the most requested bedtime story books in our house.

Beautifully illustrated, with very accurate information. Great to have a book written by a scientist for kids, so you know the facts are true.
