Brilliant for getting rid of Fungus Gnats in House Plants
Was recommended Diatomaceous Earth (DE) to put on top of my houseplants soil to stop Fungus Gnats I didn’t want to buy a huge amount of DE and the shaker with this works a treat How to apply: Make sure the top of the soil is totally dry then sprinkle on enough DE to totally cover the top of the soil to a reasonable depth Once you’ve applied DE do NOT water your indoor plants from above as it will just wash away the DE As long as your container has holes in the bottom water your plants from below… what I do is put a couple of inches of water in the sink and pop my plants in that water and allow a couple of hours for the plant to suck up what it needs Once you’ve left the plants in the water remove them and let them drain on the kitchen drainer for a while until totally drained otherwise there’s a risk of root rot. Then pop your plants back where they belong DE has totally solved my slight Fungus Gnat problem in all my houseplants with no chemicals either Totally recommended

Great for student accommodations infested with silverfish
I have lived in 3 different university accommodations (both uni owned and private: IQ and sanctuary students) in UK and they were always infested with huge disgusting silverfish. This product massively helped to calm down the silverfish colony in my last uni flat, the silverfish stopped coming out from below/above my desk and from under the carpet flooring. I recommend this product to all uni students. Just be careful with the dust: 1. I recommend using it with closed windows and just before going out in order to give the powder time to settle down. Although this is 'food grade' silica and therefore contains a negligible amount of the 'bad' silica that gets stuck in your lungs and damages them, this is still not a good thing to breath in. Use masks where possible. 2. Aim to lay down a very thin layer of powder by "squeezing" or "puffing" the bottle instead of shaking it straight down. In this way the insect will not be able to just walk around it. 3. Give it time. The powder sucks the water out the insect and kills it slowly but inevitably, it'll take some time for them to die. Maybe around 2 weeks. Though I have not had bed bugs, there's videos on Yt on how to use this product for bed bugs, for example by placing a container under each foot of the bed and filling it with this powder. They say this powder is the most effective way to get rid of these insects.

So far so good
So far so good, other products just seem to slow fleas down and they regroup, multi mite seems to be eradicating them from my dog. Week or so into the treatment so far some in food and some sprinkled over her coat. Had no adverse affects, dog is quite happy with it.

I have a good make but the powder is so fine it totally ...
It seems to work but the powder is not vacuum friendly. I have a good make but the powder is so fine it totally messed up my filters. But I use it outside in the garden/yard as we have loads of cats in area, birds, hedgehogs etc plus ants nests and it does keep a check on the creepies etc. Also I mix it with salt and it's great against the slugs as the powder clings to surfaces even after the rain so the salt does too, whereas normally the salt would just wash away in the rain.

Ooooooh so far so very good!
Very powdery stuff, makes clouds...however, it seems to be very effective and I am very pleased with the results against fleas in my home. I've left it a couple of days and have heard that it screws up hoover filters so will be using a carpet cleaner vacuum instead in a day or so before re-applying for any stragglers. I found "poofing" the bottle works very well as opposed to trying to sprinkle/pour it. I'd definitely recommend this stuff if you don't mind it sitting on the floor for a couple of days. Or, I suppose you could use it everywhere, leave it a couple of hours and then reapply until you've used it all...personal preference I guess.

Excellent pest control for insects
Bought this to kill an obtrusive ant nest. I have cats so opted for the food grade DE so they weren't affected. I've used DE before so it's tried and tested, maybe a bit messy but it works better than nippon. Crawling insects won't last long, job done.

Convenient and safe pest control
Having had a huge flea infestation from two new cats and having struggled to get it under control, we appreciate the convenience of this dusting powder for continuing control, instead of the constant use of questionable chemicals,
