Echo Dot Wall Mount, A Space-Saving Dot Accessories for Dot (Black 1-Pack)

This device solved a problem of dangling cords and awkward positioning in our kitchen area. Now the Echo is affixed to a wall outlet above the counter away from the sink/stove with the Echo up inconspicuously and fully functional.NOTE: I did have one problem of my own making. When I snapped the Echo into the holder I wasn't careful to have the plug-in hole fully visible so I had to rotate the Echo within the holding ring. No can do! The Echo fits too TIGHTLY so I had to remove and re-position it. I was unable to do it without snapping one of the holding prongs. It still holds the Echo tight but ... You've been warned!

I like the Echo Dot and for the most part Alexa gives accurate information but sometimes its so wrong and she does it when I am truly wanting an accurate answer to my question. Today I asked her how many calories in one extra large shrimp and she said "there are 87 calories in one medium size shrimp". That is not accurate and when you are counting calories you want the information she gives you to BE accurate. I believe there are 87 calories in ONE 3 ounce serving of shrimp". How can Amazon make sure her answers are more correct.....?

Bought two, like best is how easy it is to use and how it eliminates the long cord. Like least is one of the two failed and has a bad cord. It will not plug into echo dot. So 50% of your product failed. I’m getting ready to go out and return it now as we speak. I would give you 2 1/2 stars but I’m lowering to 2 because I gotta go out in this bitter weather and return it.

It's great to get the Echo off of the counter and reduce the amount of cord needed. The AmorTek Wall Mount holds the Dot firmly and I don't worry that it will fall or disengage. I had read reviews that stated it was very hard or impossible to rotate the Dot once inserted. I absolutely did not find this to be an issue. I popped it in and then realized I neglected to pay attention to where the port should line up and easily rotated it inside the product. No problem with inserting the Echo Dot into the holder or plugging into the supplied connection wire. Have installed it "hanging downward" from a wall receptacle behind a bedroom door, and it does not block use of the top plug (although I am not using it anyway). Sound quality seems slightly enhanced given that it now is projecting into the room vs. up into the air. Totally satisfied.

I love the whole idea of being to cut the cord sort to speak.This is a great way to make things more convenient on the eye.Really a great product and I hope to deal with your company inthe future.This really makes it so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and elevatesthe burdensome cord hanging.

I managed to force my first generation Dot into this case, and it works really well. I secured the unit to the plug with Sugru to keep it from slipping, and now I can use the Dot anywhere. I have it mounted on an odd plug in my bedroom so it's not taking up valuable space. This holder is great!

Unfortunately we had to return due to this wouldn’t fit well with out echo dot kids edition. We also didn’t like that it just sits on the charger. The charger doesn’t come with it and our charger is shaped different than one shown in their picture and wouldn’t fit in the casing.
