This is a simple charcoal filter. Comes with a universal sip cap, fits hydroflask as well as Nalgene bottles. Two extra filters and two long straws comes with fklter. If using with 32oz or smaller bottles you end up with 4 straws. No instruction were provided in the package. Be sure to wash/flush the charcoal fklter before use, to get rid of any dust particles.

I tried it out with a 32 oz hydro flask. With the filter part you only need 1-2 inches of the actual straw. We have city water and definitely smells of chlorine. Seemed to take most the taste away. Haven’t tired long term yet. I will update after I use it for a while.

The water bottle I wanted didn’t come with a filter. Our water machine at work has a filter BUT THEY NEVER CHANGE IT so it’s important I have a filer. I bought a half gallon Iron Flask and this fits that perfectly. It comes with three filters and I don’t think they sell them separately, but at the price I could just buy a new one every six months and it would be affordable.

It looks like a useful product, but it was irritating, not to find any specific information about the filter, lifespan, the proper assembly method, or any details about the filter's operation. Immediately after opening the packaging, a waft of strong chemical citrus smell came off all of the parts. Washed it several times, soaked it in vinegar, and put it in the dishwasher and nothing got rid of the smell. and it had really bad flavor when using the straw. Really disappointed. PIECE OF TRASH DO NOT BUY

Cheaper than buying new bottles, universal, affordable

This fit my 40oz Takeya water bottle. No instructions or paperwork were included, but it was relatively simple to put together. Because there was no paperwork, I'm not certain about the specs of the carbon filter and it's reliability.The set comes with 1 leakproof lid, 1 filter housing, 3 filter cartridges, and 2 long straws. The lid is leakproof only if the mouthpiece is pushed down. If it is not pushed down, then the air hole on the lid is exposed and water will spill out if tilted/toppled over (tested/tried and true by holding water bottle upside down over the sink). The straws need to be cut down to size with a very sharp blade (I used an extremely sharp kitchen knife) and I ended up only needing maybe 2.5 inches for my bottle. This is because the filter housing takes up a lot of space and allows you to use a smaller portion of the straw. I would recommend placing all components together and determining the length of straw needed to reach the very bottom of your bottle and cut just slightly higher. The first time I cut it, it ended up touching the bottom of the bottle. When this happens, you aren't able to sip any water through the straw because there isn't enough of a gap between the straw and the bottom of the bottle for water to pass through. The second time I cut it shorter, and it became much easier to sip the water.The water tastes good, so I think that the carbon cartridge works. It takes some effort to sip the water, so it seems like the water is going through the straw and the filter based off of previous filtered water bottle experiences.

I put ice in this one day and there is still ice 24 hours later even after being in the car over night
