Purchased this for a girls night and it was a hit! We loved making the candles. The kit came with everything you need to make cute & fragrant candles. We also thrifted other vessels to make candles in and it was so much fun. The instructions are very easy to follow. Would recommend to anyone wanting a fun activity with friends or older children.

This is a great Kit to allow one to learn the process of making candles. I ordered the 5 pound. I started with one pound of wax and one ounce of fragrance to make four 4 oz candles using metal containers from Michaels. So with the kit can make a total of 20 4 oz candles. This is more than enough for my needs. My test candle produced a beautiful burn after a 48 hour cure. I’m going to cure all remaining and future candles for two weeks to maximize scent throw. There is one major challenge that caused my 4 star review. Neither the company name of the wax or the name and size of the wick is provided. This means that it is not possible to reorder supplies if you want to make additional candles and have consistent results. It is important to think carefully about the size and number of candles you want to make prior to ordering the kit.

My candles turned out great with this kit! It had everything I needed besides the jar and scent. But definitely great for first time candle makers! I made candles for my clients and friends and family for Christmas! So easy to use too! I put the melting pot inside of a pan of boiling water to make the wax melt and it melted quick and easy!

Easy to use for someone whose never made candles before.

As long as you fully melt the wax, they pour out perfectly. I didn’t have an electric stove so I placed the bottom of the pouring pot in hot water and it worked like a charm. This is such an easy way to save money instead of buying 10-30 dollar candles over and over.

I loved it very easy

The kit is great. The stainless steel pitcher to melt wax in , not so much. The handle keeps coming off even though it was re-screwd several times. This becomes a problem when you have hot wax in and are in the middle of pouring it. Not good.Other than that, I'd say it's an easy and fun craft to do. Provided you don't scald yourself with hot wax.
