Blade broke 2 months later and there is no customer support

About a week ago I was able to open and use this item. What I have noticed it is different from the the presented photos and perhaps a newer model. The downside of it is the Lid which was made of plastic and sadly when I put it in the dishwashing mechine it melted and damaged !!? ??! So I am left of without a lid to still be using this chopper.
