Awesome book for any runner beginner to competitive. It contains workouts for all and you can adjust the difficulty based on a pace chart in the back. Really helpful for someone who has to run on the treadmill atleast 3x per week due to work schedule. Short 1.5 mile workouts to up to 14 mile workouts. Got me out of my 5 mile easy everyday routine, and excited to run again. Great book!

Good book for established runners
Good book, but not for a truly beginning runner. The average run speed on a treadmill is 6-7mph for these workouts. If you can run that fast on a treadmill, then this is the book for you.

Not recommendable at all. Just another running book with a different title.
This book is very badly written and the lay out is even worse. . Its just a bunch of runs that anyone can get from any running book and use them on a treadmill. Its the same as any other running book.Theres no special calculation that in a sense can get you ready for a road run/race.Hugely disappointed in this.The author just put treadmill as a heading but reallyl its just another running book and not a very good one,Dont waste your money.

A solid, well-balanced book for anyone who runs or wants to run
This book has pretty much any workout you could possibly need, from relative beginners to marathoners. The table of contents is very clear and broken up into easily understandable sections for beginners, intermediate runners, and advanced runners. Each level is clearly explained so you know what kind of runner they will work for. You can access pace charts to tailor your workout to you specifically. Being able to see a variety of workouts laid out for your level of ability is helpful not only for the obvious reason of running, but also to see and understand the thinking and methodology behind them. This book is for people who understand you must work to achieve your goals, whether you are new to running or not. You will not become the runner you'd like to be by just reading; decide what workouts are appropriate for you, get on a treadmill, and get your money's worth!

It's probably just me, but I have yet to figure out the system that's used in this workout book. Too complicated.

Perfect book loaded with a ton of great treadmill workouts
Perfect book loaded with a ton of great treadmill workouts. This is especially convenient to have this time of year, as the temperatures are dropping and the weather conditions are less than ideal to be outside. I love that i can reference this book for different workouts to do to keep myself from getting bored indoors. Highly recommend!
