Best Mizunos I've ever had
I've had a few different brands of running shoes over the years, and typically I gravitate toward Mizunos. I have flat feet, but they're pretty narrow, which can be a difficult fit to find and I have returned more than my share of running shoes because of poor fit. These, however, fit like a glove right out of the box--I know it's a cliche, but it truly felt like they were made for my feet. I wear a women's size 10 in non-athletic shoes, and being familiar with how Mizunos fit me, I ordered a 10.5 in these, and the size was as expected. They are fitted around the foot (not tight), with ample room in the toe box. These are more cushioned-feeling than some of the other Mizunos with the wave plate in them (e.g., Wave Creation), but they're not too stiff or soft and are still very responsive to the road and to how your foot bends. I've been hesitant to purchase stability shoes despite my flat feet because most of the ones I've tried are so bulky and difficult to maneuver in. These, however, feel light and slim. No bulk at all--they're less bulky than even some of my other neutral Mizunos. The tread on the bottom is great. You can really feel yourself gripping the road (or track or treadmill). Because of that, they may not be great for a road race if speed is your objective, but if you're running on city streets--or even some trails--where the terrain is unpredictable and you need reliable traction, these are WONDERFUL. I feel confident enough with the grip on these that I'd take them outside to run in winter and know that even the occasional icy patch won't be an issue.

Perfect!
I have flat feet and old ankle/ knee injuries from soccer. This shoe is amazing! My feet no longer go numb from working out or running. It's super cute and I get compliments on the loud colors. They are light weight and ventilate your toes effectively. I used to be loyal to Nike but after finding this Mizuno brand I am forever going to buy my truly active shoes ( running, walking, soccer shoes) from Mizuno. When I get compliments on them, they ask me what kind of shoe they are and I say they are "not nike". They are surprised. Highly recommend that one go to the Mizuno web site to determine what type of shoe best fits their needs before buying. These are high stability shoes for those with over pronation.

Beautiful and Great for Flat Feet!
These shoes look great - really unique. I've gotten lots of compliments from random strangers. They are also very comfortable, nice and breathable. I can wear these all day without any issue. My feet are completely flat which makes shoes quite difficult to find that really "work." After using Mizuno's "test" from myprecisionfit.com to determine the best shoe for me, I took the recommended shoe's application and found something I liked a lot with similar application, which was this. These really help A LOT with my overpronation which causes me to always twist my ankles - especially doing things like playing tennis with my husband - or any of the other activities we do where running and stopping is a big part (frisbee, soccer, basketball, etc.). With other shoes, I always have to tone it down and can't be very aggressive because I have to baby my stupid feet and watch for my ankles just giving out and turning, but these fix that quite a bit while still being very breathable, comfortable and cute!I typically wear a 42 in EU sizes - which comes out to a 10.5 in US sizes and means sometimes I can squeeze into a 10 OK, but sometimes have to go with an 11 - so the half-sizes were very welcome and true to size.I'm sure the shoes that the test directly recommended for me would work better, and I will probably get those next, but I just love the look of these shoes so tried them out first as a kind-of cross between seriously-playing-stuff and wearing-them-all-the-time sneaker.

Great shoe
Really like this shoe. Trying to break away from my typical over cushioned running shoe... The break up has been difficult. This shoe seems to be a nice in between shoe. Not too much cushion. Not a barefoot shoe either. Worn three times to my TFW class at the jump, heavy on sprinting, and was very happy with the way the shoe felt. I only gave 4 stars... because of me... not the shoe.. Haven't tried long run yet. BUT this is a gorgeous shoe!! Totally 5 stars on looks alone! Lots of people have asked me about my shoes brand/ name while at the gym. If you want boring shoe don't buy this pair. I have the blue and orange. I would buy again and might need another pair if my 15 yr old daughter steals this pair. I'm pretty active, run 3-5 miles QOD and weight training.

As great as first pair I bought
I have been wearing Mizuno since they released the Elixir 3 or maybe 4. I have owed at least 3 pairs of the elixir 4. I ran lots of miles in them, including a couple of half marathons. Then came the Elixir 5, which I wasn't the least bit happy with. I had the Elixir 6 and 7, both were satisfactory, but never as great as the 4's. I have had the Elixir 8's for several weeks and they feel as good after several miles as they do when I first lace them up. My foot is not very wide for a size 10, but not slim enough to be considered narrow and these fit like a glove without feeling too constrictive. They are much more sturdy then the 7's, yet still light. I was planning to try another brand, but not now. I am completely happy Mizuno got back on track.

great shoe!
I never had a pair of Mizunos before so I decided to try this pair out. To my liking, the color was exactly like the photo. I did however need to return the first pair as the sizing seems to run a bit small. After wearing them one time I can say that I am a fan. They are very light and comfortable. I do lots of cross training and I can say that these are the right shoes for me. I usually have foot pain during workouts, but with this shoe it has not happened. I will be buying another pair.
