I needed to seal the ends of some corrugated polycarbonate panels and the manufacturer recommends 1 inch wide foil tape for this purpose. I ordered this tape because of the price, it was beyond competitive and I simply hoped that the tape would work. It worked perfectly, it was sized correctly and the thickness was easy to work with. It's not very thick, and I can't speak to the tape being suitable for actual HVAC sealing (though I think it would work well). This is legitimate foil tape in massive roll lengths and a very high quantity for very little expense.

I had an opportunity to use the material that I purchased and found that not only was the aluminum tape thinner than I had anticipated, but it was also extremely hard to get the paper to come off of the tape. Once I was able to remove the paper backing from the tape the product worked well. I would definitely LOOK next time at the THICKNESS of the material that I was purchasing BEFORE buying this particular product again.

This tape adheres very poorly. Stayed perhaps 2 weeks. I thought it was just poor application on my part. So I redid the same window. I saw this morning that is falling off now.

This tape is great! I use it for so many things, from wrapping packages to letting my kids use it on the sidewalk when chalking. It's the best!

Work better than I expected

I insulated the ceiling of my workshop with 1 1/2 insulation with silver facing. I used the tape on the seams. It blends in great, the seams almost disappeared. The edges I used 4 in.

Good and multi-use product. The price is also good.

Love this. I used it for craft purposes to line canvas frames and they turned out amazing. Stays put and has a chrome finish

A little thin but worked.

Terrible quality, doesnt hold or stick just peels back off. Used on an AC to hold the tube in place and doesnt work at all.
