China junk plug not wire to match receiver wiring on USA wiring all pickups. AMERICAN BRAND
WIRING WRONG . I put many receivers on pick ups ( parent owned a camp ground ) plug cord into my truck ( Factory GM wiring receiver on truck ) set where I wanted junction box where it had plenty of cord for 80+ degree backing. Started with tail lights green wire was hot ( tail should have be Brown). Thought ok I can live with wired wrong to start turn signals was Black for right and red for left . right turn is green left is yellow hook up . Then went to wire in Electric Brakes that's where it really went down hill could not find 12 volt hot to charge break away Batter. also control for brakes very sporadic on voltage . I have a power probe test light. On plugs for trailer lights from a pop up camper to a 80 foot semi trailer every thing is the same but a single Black wire at is a feed for part of trailer lights. don't use unless you have an extra plug on hand . I know my truck wiring is rite have an adapter to go to 4 pin plug with lights to show power tail light left and right lite correct in plug .I don't want for the next person that owns this boat and trailer to think I did some thing to mess up lights .
