The "clear" winner in binocular tripod adapters!
The FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter is an absolute game-changer for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and appreciates the finer details of nature. As an avid birdwatcher and wildlife enthusiast and optics nerd this nifty little accessory has revolutionized my viewing experience, elevating it to new heights. At the time of purchase on July 29 2023, I paid $21.99 for this adapter. In my review photos you will see compatibility and fitment on my Vortex 12x50 Diamondback HD binoculars (no issues, works great). Design and Compatibility: The FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter boasts a smart and innovative design that exudes quality. The feel in hand and machining quality is very impressive considering the cost. If this thing was made in the USA it could easily be $100 or more. The quich release function is the real game changer here for me, I love that I can leave the little metal nub installed in my Vortex 12x50 and just pop them into this mount whenever I need to. I am photography fanboy and use the Arca Swiss system whenever possible, it is the easiest and quickest (not to mention widely compatible with lots of various Arca Swiss style gear) was for me to attach things to my tripod and ball head. Loving this thing! Ease of Use: One of the standout features of this adapter is its user-friendly setup. In mere seconds, I can effortlessly attach my binoculars to a tripod, eliminating the strain of extended viewing sessions. This hands-free convenience allows me to focus on the breathtaking sights without the fatigue associated with handheld viewing. I was having trouble trying to hold these 12x50 steady hand held so the tripod is 100 times better. Gone are the days of shaky hands and blurred views. With the FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter, I now experience a level of stability that drastically improves the clarity of my observations. It minimizes any shaky movements, enabling me to enjoy sharp, clear images and vivid details even during high-magnification use. Ideal for Long Observations: Whether I'm observing squirrels, birds or immersing myself in the beauty of nature, this adapter has proven to be indispensable so far in the short time I've used it during long, uninterrupted observations. It's perfect for capturing mesmerizing moments without worrying about shaky hands or missing crucial details. I was about to pay more for the Vortex branded adapter and am very happy with this one, the quick detach and Arca Swiss compatibility are so nice and the quality is definitely there!

Great little mount at a better price!
The construction was really nice. Everything fit wonderfully and the mount was secure. I had to apply a little thread tensioner to the stud that screws into the binoculars, but it's not a defect or a knock in any way.

Works well with Vortex binos
I got this adaptor to use with my Vortex Viper binos and it has worked great so far. Installation was easy, and I have full confidence in its sturdiness - no worries that my binos will fall off. For the price, this is an awesome value and I felt much better buying this than a similar but much more expensive name-brand version. Two points worth considering if you are going to buy: 1. The stud portion which screws into your binos consistently loosens up on me. You could probably remedy this with some locktight, or maybe some teflon thread tape. It's not an issue where I worry that the stud will completely unscrew and fall out, but having it loosen up is somewhat annoying. 2. Reaching your finger in to disengage the quick-release button which allows the binos to release from the tripod portion of the adaptor is a little bit tricky, especially if you have large fingers. Despite these two points of feedback, I still think that this is a great product and for the price I am very happy with it.

Solid construction - works as advertised.
This works as advertised. It turns out that if your binoculars are heavy then you have to be careful that they don't pivot around the connector otherwise it will get loose. Feels solid and while the base appears to not be metal it is very rigid and worked with my Orion 7x50 binoculars.

Stable, Durable & Perfect for Hands-Free Viewing!
I recently purchased a Binocular Tripod Adapter & Mount, and it has completely transformed my viewing experience! The sturdy metal construction ensures durability, and the secure fit eliminates any image shake—making it perfect for long observation sessions. The installation was quick and hassle-free, and it attaches seamlessly to my binoculars with a standard 1/4-inch thread. Whether you're into birdwatching, stargazing, or outdoor adventures, this adapter provides a rock-solid base for steady, hands-free viewing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their binocular setup!

Works well
Works well with my big Nion Aculon binoculars. Kind of spendy for what you get.

Sensible, quality, reasonably priced mount
These are very nice, well-made, ergonomically sensible, reasonably priced mounts. I have an older style Vortex mount. Vortex changed their design, so that it looks very much like this Fanrue mount. The difference being that the Vortex mount costs three times as much.

Perfect fit!
The tripod adapter for binoculars fits my small RSPB bins perfectly. Very easy to use, good quality and functionality. Fits straight onto my Joby flexible tripod head, which is a bonus. Well made and good value.

Worked out very well.
It does exactly what they claimed and I like the fact that I can attach the small chrome mounting part permanently to my 7x50 Bushnell (see photo) without getting in the way at all. In fact I like this feature so much that I wish the unit had come with a 2nd mounting part that I could also leave permanently on my Nikon 10x40 as well. This would save me having to remove it from one when I wish to change binoculars. Or at least offer a 2nd as an accessory? Other than that small complaint, I like it very much.

WOW!
I own vortex cheap and high end versions This is as good if not better than the High end 135$ Vortex adaptor. Built like a tank and super precise ajustments. Would pay 120$ for it without hesitation!

Quality binoculars tripod support
A well made support for my Nikon binoculars. 10x magnification was difficult to get a steady image hand held, so this tripod support is ideal.
