Cut Off: Colonel Jedediah Huntington's 17th Continental (Co Paperback – Illustrated, 1 September 2013

This was a priceless find as I was doing genealogy research about my fifth great grandfather, Jedediah Huntington. Other than a book of letters written and received by him that I was able to find from a used bookseller, this was the only book I've found with a comprehensive history of this virtually unknown American hero who served from 1775 until the end of the war. More importantly, it provides an extremely detailed account of the Battle of Long Island (which Huntington actually missed due to illness), and the long and cruel suffering of hundreds of prisoners captured by the British. I'm so thankful this book was written and I enjoyed every page.

Just got this book for my husband who is in the process of writing his own novel within the Revolutionary War. This book has been a god-send. Its great to know there is an place that you can find any book, any topic anytime! Again Amazon makes looking up thing easy, cost effective, and ships fast.... This author knows what he is talking about. Buy it you will be amazed at what History had forgotten!

Good book. Very thorough coverage of the historical incident. I'm using it for genealogical research.
