Confusing measurements
The author seems confused about units.The quantity of protein per lb of body weight does not match the quantity per kg body weight.The latter should be 2.2 times the former. This makes the whole book confusing.The food value counts are all in metric yet the recipes are in imperial.One pound of some ingredient, a cup of another. The cups in my house contain between 200ml and 400ml.Which do I use?Isn't it time to ditch these incomprehensible medieval units and put the whole book into metric like everything else in the world?

Easy to understand
This book really resonates with me. It is a easy read and does not bore you lost of scientific details before you get to the recipes. The guide lines are not one method fits all, you are told how to adjust the recommendations to fit you.

Great Keto Book
Everything you want in a Keto book as I beginner it gave me a place to start with recipes and they were really tasty and had the nutritional values right there.

Really confusing
I have read this book through thoroughly several times, and downloaded the Quick Start Guide 7-day meal plan. But I am still completely flummoxed as to how the diet is supposed to work and how to get started! I tried emailing the author (she provides her email) but got no response. The calculations you need to do to work out how many carbs. fats, proteins and calories you can consume each day make no sense. I have A-level maths so it's not as though I'm stupid! There is a 7 day diet plan with suggested meals, but no recipes to go with it (the ones in the book don't match with the plan) so I have no idea how to make any of the meals it suggests! For breakfast the suggested option is to have a "bullet proof coffee" which apparently is black coffee with butter and either Brain Octane or XCT oil! Aside from sounding absolutely revolting, I don't think these oils will be readily available in my local supermarket somehow! The whole point of this was that it was promoted as being simple and it certainly isn't! I may use some of the recipes in the book anyway but I can't use it as I intended, as a way to improve my diet and hopefully lose weight. Not impressed and do not recommend.

Disappointing
Apart from the fact that there are very few nice recipes in this book, they are unbelievably complicated - there is absolutely no format to this book, recipes are for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 people - it would be much easier if people wrote cook books with 2 people recipes, so it can be easily worked out.One for the charity shop I think!

To me this is not a cookbook, just a list of recipes put together on the cheap.There are no photos, so you don't know what the finish product is going to look like. Temperature is in Fahrenheit other measurement in cups

Great Ketogenic Recipe Book. Informative!
Oh wow! 120 recipes. This was my initial reaction when I opened this book. I was a bit skeptical about its contents, is this just another Kindle Ketogenic Diet recipe book that only collects a number of recipes online?First and foremost, the book started out with a detailed explanation of what a Ketogenic Diet is about. This is a great way to introduce the diet to people who want to try it, I’m glad this book made sure that the readers will gain a better understanding of what they are getting themselves into; from the benefits, what to expect, to which foods to eat and avoid. I’ve learned so much about the right calorie intake I should take each day in order for this diet to work at its full potential.For the recipes, the book contains a wide variety of foods to choose from. Complete with meat, vegetarian, seafood, breakfast, side dishes and even desserts. What I like about this book is that each recipe contains nutritional facts per serving and not all recipe books have this!. It’s really helpful so I can calculate and be aware of how much food intake I am getting daily.I have already tried the Spicy Tuna and Quinoa Salad, Chicken Gumbo and Sesame Chicken with Broccoli. This was my favorite, I decide to post a picture of it (except I had no sesame seeds to hand at the time.. turned out ok though). I enjoyed all these recipes and can’t wait to try the others too!

Like all diet books, this book promises effective weight loss - if committed to following religiously. First, this book is informative. It laid out the basics of Ketogenic Diet and discussed the things you need to know before starting. If you are a beginner, then this will suit you well. And the 100 recipes included in this book lessen the burden of preparing a ketogenic-fit meal on your own. That's a lot of recipes to choose from. The ingredients are fairly easy to find at the grocery store or at the local market. Recipes are easy-to-prepare, and the procedures easy-to-follow. What I personally like about this book is that it depends on the amount of time you can allot for cooking, the recipes included prep and cooking time. It also includes the number of servings per meal. So you can choose from a vast number of recipes based upon your time allocation and the size of your family. Since we are talking about "diet" the book has Nutritional Facts added at the end of every recipe. So you'll know how much you are taking in.
