It just works
The cable guy said you couldn't add another amplifier, that it wouldn't work. Guess I showed him! It works great. i had issues because of the long cable run in my house and needed a stronger signal. This did the job.

This unit appeared to be used. Did not come with coax. Had a spare one. Install was easy. Excellent signal strength.

Doesn't work...
This thing didn't change my upstream power levels on my cable modem at all. The model in the instruction manual didn't match the actual product.Returned it to Kohls tonight.

Does a great job of of splitting a signal from one outlet to 2 strong signals without any pixelation.

Does the job as intended
I installed this in minutes and was able restore the signal to my cable box connected TVs on a long and split run. (I have 7 TVs not all pre-wired for cable. After splitters reduced the signal too much and the cable company could not help, I bought a 4 way splitter with amplification. This fixed 3 TVs but the other 4 would read signal interrupted message. I place this amplifier and now the other 4 digital boxes work well. Very little if any pixalization occurs.

It gave my cable modem the signal strength I needed.
I live in an apartment where the coax signal is shared by several tenants.Before this device, I would always worry about sporadic reboots or blaming the neighbors for hogging the signal. LOLAfter installing it, I never had to make another call for the cable guy to visit.

No change in signal strength
I compared the signal strength on my TV with my original unpowered splitter and then with this device. The signal strength did not change at all.
