Exactly what I needed
Fit perfectly, no more leaks, easy to switch out. Saved me from having to buy a new rug cleaner.

Perfect fit
This item is exactly what was needed for a replacement for my shampooer. The one that came with the shampooer broke after about 5 uses and I thought I would need to buy a whole new tank and this made it much less expensive and worked perfectly! The shampooer I have is below. I also recommend that item. It is narrow but for area rugs or smaller areas is it amazing. It does as good of of job as any I have used. Inexpensive to keep on hand
It is nice to be able to order these caps and keep one on hand. I don't know why but after a few months use the cap on my carpet cleaner the spring pops out. I always keep a new cap on hand and these work great. It fits perfect there's no leakage.

Did Its Job
The cap perfectly fits the detergent container and works correctly. No leaks and seems to have the same durability as the stock cap. No complaints!

Works on Hoover Smartwash model FH52000G
This fits the solution tank for my older Hoover SmartWash model FH52000G. Hope it lasts at least as long as the original one that came with the SmartWash cleaner.

Price checked
I first went to the manufacturer's website to see what part what the part was called and how much did it cost. After seeing it there I went to Amazon to see if they carried it. Sure enough. Had the exact same piece. A lot less cost and it works just as well as if I bought it from the manufacturer.
