Works very well.
This works great. The materials feel a little on the cheap side. It works as it's supposed to and has an option to turn the load off which I like alot.

Worth the price if you just need USB from battery
Works well, although not efficiently, with 12v panels. It's easy to use although has no setting for Li batteries. I use one for 12v LiFeP battery and it works fine. You can set the voltage for charge and float. USB outlets control voltage at 5.1 v regardless of battery volts (anything from 10.5 to 14 on mine). Worth the price for the controlled USB voltage from a 12v battery.

High failure rate
Bought 2, and one was bad out of the box. They replaced it.. Why is everything that's made in China has a high failure rate ? Really to bad.

Help saving a lot on your electric bill.
I used this on a retrofit hot water heater that I used a 12 v RV. water heater element on. It's running off of a 100 w solar panel so far. (I will be adding more later). I'm starting with the highest power usage items first. Then eventually work down to the lowest like the refrigerators. next on the hit list is the electric clothes dryer. I'm building this to run off of a diesel parking heater. this will save a ton on electric. I run these on dyed diesel @ $18.00 for 5 Gal. mixed with used motor oil or kitchen oil for more savings. this way I can stay with low voltage. this unit seems like a pretty good build quality with a lot of features and it's compatible with most 12 v parts. I like the display and it's easy to install. I am planning on buying more of these as I build up my system.

Sub-par unit and manual. Please reconsider
I am very disappointed with this product. Unfortunately, I was unable to properly evaluate its functionality because I could not even complete the initial setup. The unit would not enter setup mode at all, rendering it effectively unusable out of the box. The operating instructions are essentially worthless. At best, they explain basic wiring connections, but they provide no meaningful guidance on configuration or actual operation. For a device that is marketed as an “intelligent” MPPT controller with programmable features, this lack of documentation is unacceptable. Additionally, the claimed 100-amp rating is highly questionable. The connection terminals are physically incapable of accommodating the wire gauge required to safely handle that level of current. A true 100A controller would require at least #3 AWG copper conductors, which simply will not fit into these terminals. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the specifications and the overall design integrity. I purchased this controller assuming that some of the negative reviews might be attributable to user error. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend continuing your search and being prepared to pay more for a reputable, properly documented MPPT charge controller from a trusted manufacturer.

Only handles ~220W before throttling
This unit will handle about ~15A @ 13.4V which is around 220W before it throttles due to suspected overheating. The unit comes with only 3 MOSTFETs for voltage switching. The thermal pad that's at the back of the unit to transfer heat to the metal plate isn't thick enough and doesn't adhere to the MOSFETs. Even with some DIY work and additional cooling with proper heatpads, once you get over 15A it'll eventually throttle the unit down to a lower current. Overall not bad for $9. If you've got a small solar array then it should be fine, just keep in mind that with 200W+ solar, it's not really going to work. A big plus is that max voltage is adjustable and cuts off properly. Also keep in mind that the voltage reading on the unit is about a whopping 0.5V off at 12V. There's 0 weather sealing so if this thing is outside, it'll be dead quick.

Works good with lead acid batteries
So easy to use that you don't even really have to change any settings. Does not work with lithium ion batteries or batteries that have a BMS controller in them because this already is a BMS. I have 20 amps of solar panels feeding it and it maintains a lawn mower battery that I use for an inverter and 12 volt lighting in my safe room.

Great valùe.
I added one solar panel to a remote building using this charge controller, a deep cycle battery, and three LED lights. It works great. I can also charge my phone with it. It is programmable as to cut in and out voltage. Highly recommend this.

I brought 4 of these for caravan and shed installations, they are light, small and very well made. they have a metal backplate with a thermal strip on the internals to aid in heat dissapation. dispite the products vague description. i installed these with 265W solar panels with a peak of 30.5v and it has no issue charging and maintaining a 12v leisure battery. the battery charges at around 14v and will then when full will alternate between charging and standby. i have not used the load connections since this is not needed for any of my setups. make sure to follow the advice of connecting the battery before connecting the solar panels as this will set the brain to ensure it does not over charge/provide too much voltage to the battery if connected the wrong way. this has been running now for 2 weeks. i have 2 12v 105Ah batteries wired in parallel to produce 12v 210Ah and this pwm has worked flawlessly for my use. you can use the settings to reduce or increase the float coltage (max voltage used to charge a battery) you can also change the timings of the load circuit, and decide at what voltage the circuit will work on, so if the battery falls below 10v you can have it stop supplying to the load circuit. for the price, this is a fantastic bit of kit that will set you up for a small solar install!
