My 10 year old wanted to be a bird for Halloween. The wings fit her fine and looked decent. The mask looked like a pair of lingerie on her face so I 'accidentally ' lost those! It worked but she definitely wasn't winning any costume contents.

We thought it would be fun to dress up like birds for a party. This cape is nice, but the mask looks more like a women's underwear thong. Interesting for sure. We opted to only use the cape.

I’m a little disappointed with this bird costume set.The colors on the “wings” are not very vibrant, and they’re only on one side. It seems sized more for a child than an adult. The shoulder straps are only 11 inches apart, and it just seems like the wings (and tail) should hang down farther. The fabric is silky and pleasant enough, but those close-spaced shoulder straps aren’t particularly comfortable, nor are the wrist straps. Otherwise, if this were sized more like a shawl, I would love to wear it as one.The mask is okay. It’s pretty, but it smells (though I’m sure that’ll go away eventually…but do plan to give it time to air out). Oddly, the mask has non-stretchy ribbon ties for fastening it on you, not an elastic strap. I tucked mine above my ponytail, and that held it in place, but if you are wearing your hair down, with nothing to hold up the ribbon, you have to tie it tighter, and then the beak can be a little uncomfortable on the nose.Overall, I don’t hate the set, but I kind of regret getting it.
