PlayStation Thumb Grips (for PS4 and PS3 controllers)

Bought these on a whim and didn't realise just how helpful they are! I've gone from xbox to PS4 and i'd forgotten how badly designed sony controllers are in comparison to microsofts, these thumb grips really help stop thumb slippage and subsequently improve gameplay and accuracy in games by helping you be more in control of the stick without it slipping slightly at times. The pack comes with two different styles so I'll be ordering another pack as i prefer the shallow bobbly grips as opposed to the smoother taller ones included in this pack. Great product and a fabulous price.

They do turn once on the controllers, but do feel better than the controller - and also protect the joysticks on the gamepads, from grime and sharp nails!

You receive two sets of thumb girps, the larger domed grips are larger, add leverage and are more suited to the PS3 controller. Useful for quick movement, such as shooting in FPS, however the larger leverage can become slippy, and the grip is limited, causing the thumbs to become loose in quick movement, such as quick changes of direction or rotation such as driving or sports games.The second set of grips are more traction like, small bumps on the grip adds extra traction, and reduces the chance of slip. These fit better on the PS4 controller, as the thumbsticks are smaller, and domed in shape. This grip doesn't add much size, maybe 3-5mm, so leverage is not a benefit, but the quick movement and rotations on this grip is quick and easy, and slipping is unlikely, and control is optimum.For a very cheap set of thumb grips I can't complain, just a shame that both pairs of thumb grips don't work equally as well on each controller, as the larger grip slips on the PS4 controller, and the traction grip is a little too small to cover the whole PS3 analog stick.P.S If you are looking for a replacement to cover a broken analog stick these don't work, as they are very specific on the size, they can stretch to a larger stick, but the elastic rubber doesn't mould onto a small stick.

Fits perfectly on top of the original thumb grips on my PS4 Controller (as they are designed for that purpose).Doesn't Spin at allNice feel to the thumb gripOverall Nice Product, worth the moneyI felt that the replacement grip for the PS3 thumb grip could be better as It does occasionally spin when I'm playing Fifa.

Great addition to the PS4 controller, especially if (like me) you have experienced the rubber around the joystick start to break apart. The fits on perfectly and feels better than the actual Sony made grip. Comes with 2 different option, one protruding dome effect with lots of studds for grip, which I prefer or and indented fit for the thumb

Did I get a different product to other reviewers? The packaging suggests the crater grips go on PS3 and the dotted go on the PS4.Well the PS3 pair wouldn't stay on (poor fit) and the PS4 pair got in the way of the sticks movement.The PS4 pair specifically hindered the sticks movement and therefore responsiveness. i.e rubber made contact with the trackball that the stick is attached to. Dragged the sensitivity in an FPS right down.However, both pairs fit fine on my 360 pads, so I've added them on there since those thumbsticks also have rubber that degrades.

I love these! Not only do they protect my analog sticks from deteriorating (a common issue on PS4), they feel better than the sticks alone, particularly the unribbed set. Definitely worth it.

Comfortable but easily come off.

These fit perfectly over the thumb sticks on my dualshock 4 controllers. They work great for protecting the thumb sticks, as I have already learned, they tend to peal.

Good quality caps to extend the life of your PlayStation thumbsticks. Can slip off ocasionally if you're very rough on the controller like me. Good feel and control throughout play.

Shipping was fast, but that's it for me. Waste of money as this does not fit well on the ps4 controllers as advertised. When I placed it on the analog sticks, during game play, my movement on both analog sticks were restricted as the cap would prevent the analog stick from going all the way up or down. Took them off and just played without them. Disappointed with the false advertising.
