This little raft/ boat is very heavy duty and sturdy. I bought it with the intentions of taking it to the beach with us so I could have something to float around in the ocean, close to shore, of course, when I got too hot. My plans were to tie some sandbags to weigh it down to keep me from drifting out to sea. The first day we ended up using it to get my mother back up to the house, from the beach because her wheelchair wasn't going in the sand too well. A double tied a rope around the handles and put the rope around my waist and dragged her back to the house. That for one tells you how sturdy this is. After that my mother and a friend of hers who came to visit, went down to the beach and this time my mom's friend got to float around in the ocean with sandbags tied to the handles on the side of this raft. It held up very well with no issues whatsoever at all. He is about 6 ft tall so you can tell how big this raft is from my pictures. We did use the cooler compartment to store a few things in like a cell phone in a Ziploc baggie and some tanning lotion but we never used it as a cooler. I would imagine the temperature of the water would probably melt the ice pretty quickly. But it was very handy to have for storing stuff. We are looking forward to taking it to the beach with us again next year.

I never write reviews. But I had to jump in here and give this product a great review. Was heading to the beach over Labor Day weekend and bought about 5 different inflatables. This one stood out far and away. I’m considering getting another one or two just to keep some for down the road. Thicker material, really stable performance, the air access points have multiple options built into the design for flexibility of inflation and a big deflation port for quick deflation. Smart handle placement. You’re not gonna be disappointed with this raft.

Awesome float. It’s large, just as pictured, and great thick quality. Easy to inflate but definitely recommend a small air pump to do the job. This has lasted through the summer with no leakage. Super comfortable to lay in. Can’t wait to get it out again next summer!

When I ordered this, I didn’t realize it was going to be so big! Frankly it takes up half of our pool, but it’s still fun to fill up the “cooler”, grab some sunscreen and just float around. It was easy to inflate, with an inflator of course. This would be great at the lake or on a river.

I wanted a toy that was big enough and easy enough for my 3 year old son to ride that I didn’t have to constantly put him in and out of. This boat is BIG! our whole family is over 6 feet tall and we can fit in here no problem. My son and his little friends like to jump into the boat and float around the pool. They had fun for hours with this thing. It’s well made and held up after a solid toddler beating.

Perfect for me to lay in the sun and keep cool. Easy to dump water out and keep clean. Very comfortable and when water gets too warm, can add ice cubes from the refreshment cooler in the boat :)

You will need help to transport this if you're not just tossing it in a pool. And you will definitely need an electric or manual pump. Don't try to blow this up with your mouth...I was trying to use the product on the River while camping and after the first day of asking people to hold the other side while we walked out to the river and back to our campsite, I ditched this floatie the next two days and used something simpler that a friend bought. If you're keeping it at the pool, maybe it's cool. But not for anything else.
